Common Tator and I met here on FR. We were engaged, but things didn't work out. We remained friends, and still see each other occassionally. Earlier this week, he called to ask if he could come over for a visit. I said "ok", however he did not show up. I thought maybe he fell asleep or got busy with his programming. Had not been able to get ahold of him by phone all week. I've beeing trying to get ahold of his step-daughter, and finally reached her husband today. I also checked FR to see if he had been posting, and his last post must have been right before he left for my house.

It seems that Ray had a seizure on his way to my house, and wrecked his car. They life-flighted him to Columbus where he underwent surgery for a tumor on his brain. He is doing better, but still in intensive care. He cannot get incoming calls, so I left a message for him to call me ASAP.

I will keep you all updated as I get more information.

I am just in shock about this, and wanted you all to know.

I speak of your posts often to my wife when she and I go for our evening walk. She asked me yesterday "So what has Common Tator been saying about Foley?" I told her you hadn't posted in a few days, then I did a search on your name and found this thread. So sorry to hear about your accident. Best wishes for a speedy recovery from the Once-Ler family.

I also want to caution you to make sure you don't wear yourself out, because if you get sick, you won't be much use to anyone.

I put my kids first too, work full-time, etc., but I'm suffering my SECOND cold in 3 weeks, which my 3-year-old granddaughter "gave" me. Not to mention, it was my birthday on Sunday and I was too miserable to really enjoy it.

So take care of yourself...and I'll say a prayer for you too, Lisa!
