Today's Democrats are nothing like Presidents Roosevelt, Truman and Kennedy, who with courage and decisive action kept on top of their jobs and aggressively confronted one national defense crisis after another .........

The main reason Democrats shout be kept out of power is because the Democrat Party has become the Socialist Party in America. Why more people can't see this is beyond me.

Democrats are for: Total government control through rules and regulations; less individual responsibility; a secular society; government ownership or control of the means of production; government ownership or control of land; higher taxes; wage and price controls; government schools; income redistribution; world government; control of people's movements.

Democrats are against: private property; profits; religion; business; individual freedom; personal intuitive and innovation; free movement of people, among other; and deficit spending.

For a final test, read the Democrat Political Platform and then read the Communist Manifesto.

America was attacked a least 4 times when Clinton was President (WTC '93, 2 Embassies, the Cole). Since 9/11, the US has not been attacked anywhere in the World.

The Republicans will defend America, the Democrats refuse to.

Everything the Democrats have done to attempt to discredit our war efforts, out security and our President has also hurt OUR ECONOMY. Every slanted piece in the NYT, every leak, every hit, takes another hit on our 401ks.

I might start sending that complaint along to my Senators, along with every other issue I slap them on........

It's hard to believe that after everything the Democrats have done to emasculate the country's military and intelligence agencies, the author could only find 97 reasons that they can't be trusted.

A Big Piece of the Solution

I wish the leaders of the U.S.A., England, Canada, and New Zealand would take a stand like Australia.....

Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia, as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks.

A day after a group of mainstream Muslim leaders pledged loyalty to Australia at a special meeting with Prime Minister John Howard, he and his ministers made it clear that extremists would face a crackdown.

Treasurer Peter Costello, seen as heir apparent to Howard, hinted that some radical clerics could be asked to leave the country if they did not accept that Australia was a secular state and its laws were made by parliament.

"If those are not your values, if you want a country which has Sharia law or a theocratic state, then Australia is not for you," he said on national television.

"I'd be saying to clerics who are teaching that there are two laws governing people in Australia, one the Australian law and another the Islamic law, that is false. If you can't agree with parliamentary law, independent courts, democracy, and would prefer Sharia law and have the opportunity to go to another country, which practices it, perhaps, then, that's a better option," Costello said.

Asked whether he meant radical clerics would be forced to leave, he said those with dual citizenship could possibly be asked to move to the other country.

Education Minister Brendan Nelson later told reporters that Muslims who did not want to accept local values should "clear off".

"Basically, people who don't want to be Australians, and they don't want to live by Australian values and understand them, well then they can basically clear off," he said. Separately, Howard angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying he supported spy agencies monitoring the nation's mosques.

USA, England, Canada, and New Zealand ..... ARE YOU LISTENING?

Quote:

IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT. Take It Or Leave It ! I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Bali, we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians.

However, the dust from the attacks had barely settled when the "politically correct" crowd began complaining about the possibility that our patriotism was offending others. I am not against immigration, nor do I hold a grudge against anyone who is seeking a better life by coming to Australia.

However, there are a few things that those who have recently come to our country, and apparently some born here, need to understand.

This idea of Australia being a multicultural community has served only to dilute our sovereignty and our national identity. As Australians, we have our own culture, our own society, our own language and our own lifestyle.

This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom. We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society, then learn the language!

Most Australians believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing, political push but a fact because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, Because God is part of our culture.

We will accept your beliefs and will not question why, all we ask is that you accept ours and live in harm olny and peaceful enjoyment with us.

If the Southern Cross offends you, or you don't like "A Fair Go", then you should seriously consider a move to another part of this planet.

We are happy with our culture and have no desire to change, and we really don't care how you did things where you came from. By all means keep your culture but do not force it on others.

This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this, but once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian/Canadian/US/British et al freedom, "THE RIGHT TO LEAVE."

If you aren't happy here then LEAVE. We didn't force you to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted.

Pretty easy really, when you think about it. I figure if we all keep passing this to our friends (and enemies) it will also, sooner or later get back to the complainers, lets all try, please.

PERHAPS WE CAN CREATE A GROUND SWELL AND SEND OUR POLITICIANS THE MESSAGE THAT THE VAST MAJORITY OF US BELIEVE AS THE AUSSIES DO.........

This article is somewhat misleading.

Today's Democrats have a long history and tradition of "Cutting and Running." It goes back to FDR at Yalta, and even before.

Once our WWII goals, and those of the Soviets differed, the Democrat elite, many as we now know, in the pay of the Soviets, led us on a long retreat in Eastern Europe, China, Korea, Vietnam, and elsewhere.

Any attempt to lionize FDR and Truman in this regard. i.e., as fighting patriots, is extremely disingenuous. Truman, for example, laid the groundwork for Vietnam with his "no win" strategy in Korea.

The Democrats were in fear of involving the Soviets ... who already were involved, and as we now also know, had no intention of further supporting the Chinese. MacArthur, pia though he was, was correct. It would have been a far, far better world had he been allowed to win in Korea.

We pay for Democrat mistakes in the long run.

I agree with you on the border, but comparing the Dems to the GOP on national security is like comparing a drunk driver on his learner's permit to Matt Kenseth.

John T. Flynn, The Roosevelt Myth 50th anniversary edition, with a new introduction by Ralph Raico; San Francisco: Fox & Wilkes, 1998, 437pp., $14.95 (paper)

Ralph Raico was a professor of history at my college, and brings back this classic revelation of Rooseveltian realpolitik.

The god of the Left betrayed Poland, simply wrote it off to a half century of Soviet slavery. Not for nothing did glorious leader FDR single out Flynn as a writer who should be barred--not just Tony Snow shaking his finger at him--barred.

Enter now the great, the so-great "Give-'em-Hell-Harry" Truman, giving MacArthur the boot and giving Kim Il Sung the green light to keep the lights off in the north half of the Korean peninsula for the past half century, while millions starve on the Tree Bark Diet.

We look to the November 1965 pilgrimage of the Joint Chiefs to the White House where LBJ made them stand--literally--and deliver for a whole fifteen minutes then cursed them and threw them out for daring to ask for victory: for permission to mine Haiphong and bomb Hanoi.

Ted Chappaquiddick et al would merrily condemn the peoples of Vietnam and Cambodia to death in their tens of thousands--and soon would embrace the daughter-raper-Red Daniel "Mustache Hemi" Ortega.

Whether it be the Camelotian Jack Kennedy refusing the last B-26 raid on Castro's T-33's and their deadly .50 cal. six packs or Nobel Putz Jimmah Peanut stabbing the Shah in the back to usher in the butchering Ayatollah Khomeini, with Democrats you get not just war but war with a fifth column included at no extra charge--save that of blood, sweat, tears and toil.

No, it's still not safe to entrust national security to the jackasses.
