LOL. Snuffalupagus with Dan Bartlett (very good job, Dan) starts with Woodward's book, then goes to the Abramoff thing. I was thinking to myself that he would probably like to tie the President to Mark Foley and by golly he tried to do just that, asking if the President thinks there should be an independent investigation. LOL.

Although you have a valid point, unjustified accusations against the Republicans cannot go unchallenged. The Dems are wanting to make this inclusive of all Republicans for political reasons.

Although Foley is disgusting, there is no evidence anything he did yet rises to the level of criminal. If any criminal charges arise, the Republicans will not impede justice being done, just as every Republican has roundly denounced his comments to this boy, and applauded his resignation.

We cannot afford to let supposition and innuendo affect the outcome of this election. Far too much is at stake.

So tell us again how the GOP leadership should have known about the sexual IM's scumbag Foley was sending?

Again?

I didn't say it the first time. I just cross-posted the data from another thread.

What is this tell us again crap?

Other threads have indicated that both Hastert and Boecher were made 'aware' of things months ago. Other threads have indicated that the officials at the page training location were not only aware, but cautioned prospective pages.

It becomes more apparent that an investigation will probably have to take place to determine who knew what when and where. With all the fingerpointing those elements are difficult to determine at present.

Just what we need --- another Congressional investigation. [/s]

We just disagree then. Remember though, I have been watching Newt for nearly twenty years.

to me he looked like he was barely controlling his anger...remember the first 2 books by Woodward about this President and his administration were very positive...in that vein those who agreed to talk to Woodward thought rightly or wrongly that this book would be positive as well...Card's anger at Woodward was right below the surface...I would wager a guess that others who spoke to him feel the same way...whether they will come out and speak remains to be seen but they should be asked

Sometimes "gayness" is a perception different for all people.

Anyone want to argue about Dr. Smith from "Lost in Space"?

:o)

Right about Murtha... never mind the deal with Pelosi re: the contractors. Whatever happened to that? Was it KSM?

What caught my attention in this interview was when Card said "I was too candid with Woodford".....what I got out of that is what Woodford said re Card is true...

I'm watching Fox News Live and Eric Shawn is interviewing Andy Card and it is crystal clear that Bob Woodward's claims are true in what Card told him. IOW, Card did recommend that the President replace Rumsfeld. IMO, Card has inadvertantly dropped the President in the grease and watching his pathetic attempt at covering for it makes me sick.

Card is going overboard praising President Bush now, but it rings hollow because he clearly went behind the President's back and blabbed to Woodward that he recommended the President replace his Sec of Defense in a time of war. Thanks to Card, his big mouth may help the enemies of this administration win big in November and then we will all lose.

"FNC said Foliey is MIA."

Probably gone on vacation to Thailand (rolling eyes)

"We should be asking how long had ABC sat on the story and allowed children to be endangered."

YEP

"How long did the Democrats, as the party of homosexuals, know of foley's homosexual activities."

A LONG TIME..PM me later and I will give you a link that will blow your mind

"They have far more to loose than this BS crocodile outrage."

They should, but they won't because we are too busy with our own moral outrage at Foley to see how the dems and the MSM are trying to spin this scandal to take out the entire GOP!!
I for one, am not going to stand around and let them do it!

Flame away folks....lol
