Bill Krystal is right about Bill Clinton's history of trying to intimidate reporters. It's what he does, and his finger is his weapon of choice.

A Waaa, a waaaaa, Juan is a whiner. "What about Rush Limbaugh writing a letter in the Wall Street Journal?", he asked. Letters to Editors, oh sooooooo unfair to Clinton!! Juan was struggling to make the point Clinton is criticized more than Bush. (I think Brit thinks Juan is an idiot. Brit's exasperation with Juan was on full display today.)

Brit asks Juan if we were an immoral nation when we held thousands of prisoners during WWII. Juan nonsensically replies that that was a different situation (so I guess it was okay with him) but we are fighting terrorists now (following on his thought process, if that's what it is, when fighting terrorists, we need to give them equal rights under the law). There you have leftists in a nutshell. They make no sense whatever.

That's a real good question. I've seen those commercials. "Mr. President, stop the genocide." The fact that they use that together with a photo of Bush, instead of saying, "Mr. Secretary-General" with a pic of Kofi is telling.

It's disingenuous and it's just wrong!

Looks like Juan Williams want the terrorist to have equal time too !

How do you treat someone who has no qualms about killing innocent people with morals IMHO the moral thing to do to these killers is to kill them .

Thanks...I wanted to see what exact procedures had to be followed to do something to a sitting Congressman. The list was just gravy.

I was surprised myself at the brevity of it. That just shows how difficult it is for the Congress to police itself IMHO.

FReepers can't have it both ways: FReepers can't complain when the Dems use moral equivalency, and then use moral equivalency when a Guppie is facing allegations

Actually we can. We can condemn Foley for his disgusting behavior, support his resignation and hope that he is prosecuted if he broke any laws. We can also draw comparisons to the reaction of the Republican leadership versus the Dem leadership in other prominent cases especially since the MSM and left are making that argument. The first is a moral question, the second is politics. No hypocrisy or moral relativism involved.

Some mornings the Dems just want to stay in bed with the covers pulled up over their heads.

Former page: We knew about Foley 'for years' By M.E. SPRENGELMEYER AND AMIE PARNES Scripps Howard News Service October 1, 2006 WASHINGTON — Sexually explicit messages from former Rep. Mark Foley to one former congressional page might be just the tip of the iceberg, the leader of an alumni association for former congressional pages told Scripps Howard News Service on Saturday. While Foley resigned this week after published reports of "friendly" e-mails to one 16-year-old male page and the pending broadcast of more sexually explicit instant messages, similar graphic messages from him were received by at least three other teenage...

Agreed. Plus being a single person myself, I resent the implication that I might be homosexual, just because I have not found the right person yet. I have kissed plenty of frogs, I just don't feel the need to share the information with everyone I encounter. I KNOW I am a heterosexual.

Plus for the record, I always seem to be the last person to realize when someone is a homosexual. I always have to be told. LOL. I frankly don't care if a person in homo or hetero. I either like the person or not. Never occurs to me.

Ah. I read somewhere that based on the sampling (usually more Dims and/or I), the # of people on the do not call list, and all the cell phones out there (some folks no longer have/use land lines in their homes) about 5% should be added to the Pubbies poll. Made sense to me (though I can't say if the 5% is an accurate # or not - - but definitely think that the Pubbies #s are probably lower than actual).
