The DNC talking points are set.
Democrats seek to confuse emails with instant messages.
Democrats, as the party of homosexuals, would have known foleys homosexual activitics far more than republicans.
Democrats are pushing woodwards book in this scanda too!
I was kicking around the idea of starting a thread about that ad. I'll do a bit more research and pull things together.
I believe producing the ad know the futility of having the UN do anything.
I think it's an appeal to the only person poweful enough and moral enough to do anything about it.
Could they state in better, yes.
But the ad is a direct emotional appeal.
I sure hope Brown did as poorly as you say.
The race is still close enough where the dynamic can change and Dewine can pull it out (as opposed to Montana, where Burns is dead in the water and money should be pulled out and put in MO, OH, NJ, TN, etc).
This really is the worst crop of GOP Senate candidates/incumbents in a long time.
...But the ad gives the impression at the very end thast it's all Bush's fault..and that is simply not true!
"Woo hoo .. On Fox Michael Sheuer(sp?) called Clinton and Berger liars"
Ya gotta love it. The fact is every point he suggests they are lying about has been confirmed by others AND their own words!!
Check out my post #348 - they were applauding Bush on September 19th in a press release while they were preparing this ad implying he is not working to solve the genocide. Despicable.
What he admitted to removing and destroying were several draft versions of a memo regarding actions they took or failed to take after various terrorist incidents during the Clinton presidency. The final memo was a whitewash and was left in the archives and presented as "evidence" to the 9/11 commission. The earlier drafts presuably had both harsher assessments and, more damaging, hand written notes with instructions to change or leave out portions that were too critical. According to "informed sources" it was those notes that they were desperate to destroy as some were written by Billy Jeff himself.
Rush, on the other hand, thinks Berger put some documents into the archives to create a paper trail to back up false testimony they planned to give.
This is an interesting thread...http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/1711557/posts?page=1
A new UN report seems to be more upbeat than the NIE.
Here is the report itself:

OK> Good. I think you're onto something important. It needs a thread of its own.
One thing that I heard for the first time today was that Bin Ladin was never a possible target during President Bush's first 8 months, thus he couldn't have "gotten him" as the left keeps complaining. To this comment, Wallace commented on the "failure of will by both presidents." I don't think so, but this comes from the same Chris Wallace who usually refers to ex42 as President Clinton and to the current president as MR. Bush. On this MR vs President topic, I thought it was interesting that Wallace said "Bill Clinton" several times in his commentary on the 4000 emails he got about the interview. This was a prepared statement. Perhaps some of those emails referred to the false impression that ex42 had (pretended to have?) about him.
Michael Scheuer said that the Jusuits taught "If you have to lie, never lie about the facts." He went on to say that the 911 Commission ignored some vital documents and then let no one with the facts about them testify. I guess having Jamie Gorelick decide which documents the commissioners should see might have something to do with this.
Sorry I meant, "I believe those producing the ad know the futility of having the UN do anything."
Defcon amen re Rudy....he's the only one who gets it
He was awesome and factual!
Need to see him make the rounds of ALL the shows.
