BAGHDAD, Iraq -- Al-Qaida in Iraq's leader, in a chilling audiotape released Thursday, called for nuclear scientists to join his group's holy war and urged insurgents to kidnap Westerners so they could be traded for a blind Egyptian sheik who is serving a life sentence in a U.S. prison. And the best part is, if the jihadists are caught, the Democrats will provide them with US Civil rights and ACLU lawyers! Sheesh, I wonder what the Al-Qaeda signing bonus is..

[...urged insurgents to kidnap Westerners so they could be traded for a blind Egyptian sheik who is serving a life sentence in a U.S. prison.]
This makes a prima facia case for not imprisoning any terrorists, ever.

"We are in dire need of you,"
How can this be?
Surely there are lots of unemployed science types looking for work.
Well, at least that's the way the Democrats make the economy sound.

"The field of Jihad.."
Now that's just too funny right there. I have a Masters in Physics and I am hoping to explore an opportunity in the field, of say, Jihad.

Hellllooooo, they already have, they're in Iran.

1) One reason we shouldn't give life sentences to terrorists. 2) I wonder what they are NOT reporting? Usually these Muslim nuts are long-winded. 3) The nuke thing could be meaningful. Perhaps it implies they have them, and need guidance, OR, have enough moolah to buy them. It's the part that really seemed different to me.

If one of our cities is nuked, then we would be justified to drop a nuke on Mecca.
We can be charitable and tell them beforehand.

Need that Slim Pickens image riding down with a nuke, only instead, with Sheik Omar Abdel-Rahman strapped on it, right at the bad guys..

Is it just me, or is this nutbag beginning to sound really shrill?
I can't help getting the feeling that his audience is dwindling.
Not that there aren't still a lot of dangerous moozies out there, but that there aren't as many listening to the droolings spewing out of this moron's hummus hole.

Whoops. I thought this was the Zawahiri video... I take his & Osama's tapes differently. I question how easily they can communicate and dictate to Iraq's Al Qaeda branch. Zawahiri just went on and on about Bush, the Pope, Darfur... So far, I have not seen anything about Mr Peepers (AKA Zawahiri ) mentioning nuke scientists.

He also said more than 4,000 foreign militants have been killed in Iraq since the U.S.-led invasion in 2003 -- the first known statement from the insurgents about their death toll. Let's see...that would be 4000 x 72 = 288,000 Virgins.
Yikes! Apparently, no shortage there.

They continue to be obsessed with this Rahman guy. Why don't we just kill him already? Surely someone can be paid to shank him.

"The field of jihad can satisfy your scientific ambitions, and the large American bases (in Iraq) are good places to test your unconventional weapons, whether biological or dirty."
The field of jihad? Do they have to have a major in jihad with a minor in suicide bombing? Did he give his address so the job applicants would know where to send their resumes? I wonder if they offer a health package and have an employee of the month program. This is very short on details.
