Prayers for the missing.
Hello series...I'm hugh.
Now saying wreckage may have been located (per poster on airliners.net)
That is weird. I had the most vivid dream on Wednesday Night about a plane crashing in the jungle. Horrible dream...woke up in a sweat. Really freaked me out.
Wierd about the dream. Any details (other than a jet airliner crashing in the jungle) match as yet?
Are you coming to the psychic convention?
(If you have to ask where and when, I'd guess you are not).
He was channel surfing up to Fox News and caught the News Alert, whatcha thing?!?
Omigosh, it was lost somewhere in the Amazon basin. That is REALLY not good! How will they find it?
Brazilian airliner (Gol, I think). I don't know about the origin and destination, unfortunately.
I'm hoping and praying for a miracle. It's already a miracle if they found the wreckage. I have no idea HOW they would go about doing that, with the jungle canopy blocking aerial view.
Praying for a miracle.
There's been a lot of problems with ATC around Switzerland in the past due to the fact the airspace and airports in Switzerland encroach on the ATC controls in Germany, France, Austria and Italy. That's why the Europeans are going to Eurocontrol single ATC control and why Zurich's airport drastically changed their ATC procedures to prevent problems with German airspace.
What do they think it was?
Never said,,,so,,,?
Lotta Moozzi down there,,,
I can understand them backing off the mid-air collision idea. An Embraer Legacy 600 is a large business jet that's based off the ERJ-135 commuter airliner; the ERJ-135 seats 37 people normally (the Legacy has a plush interior for about 12-14). A loaded 737-800 has around three times the mass of that Legacy and is at least twice as big in all dimensions. If a 737-800 struck a Legacy, unless the Legacy was incredibly lucky and the 737-800 incredibly unlucky, there wouldn't be a crew left on the Legacy to detain somewhere. Both planes would have gone down.
Both planes are also pretty much state-of-the-art, with glass cockpits and full TCAS (collision avoidance systems).
It's possible there was a mid-air, though, certainly. It would be a big coincidence to have that 737 disappear and have another airplane make an emergency landing nearby in the same general timeframe.
