The Polk Sheriff's Department shot and killed the Deputy's murderer. I just heard a blurb on the news and don't have many details. But it looks like this guy's got the dirtnap he deserved.

I can only hope he suffered,trapped like the scum he was, I hope he had nightmares of hundreds of angry people closing in on him....that his last few hours of life were filled with fear.
I know I have upset many here at FR with my comments......
but scum like this deserve no less, now all thats left is to dig a hole..........and to console and honor the deputy's family and all that knew him

I just heard the news conference on TV....sounds like there was a bit of the guy left after the holes in him were counted.
The numbnutz raised his hand with a .45 belonging to the dead deputy.....at that point it sounded like everyone within firing distance emptied their guns into him.
Then the police told his drug buddies they were coming after them, too, as participants. This should be interesting.
Wish Saddam had been caught by the Florida police.

I found out from my ex that her dad was also a good friend, got him interested in the K9 unit.
her dad just retired 2 weeks ago though. sad news, but I'm glad they got the killer.
