"We haven't decided on a permanent replacement for 'The Boondocks' yet," Brown said. "Several strips are under consideration."How will the comics fulfill it's "mean-spirited racist claptrap quotient" now?
We'll have to wait and see.

I was hoping the racist series was cancelled.

Shouldn't be that hard to find an American hating racist that can scratch out some bad drawings. Is Bin Laden still out of work?

A more racist and socialist comic strip I have yet to see...(and unfunny to boot).

Speaking of Boondocks, what are Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton up to lately?

The TV version is actually funny, but is definitely adult oriented. Every side gets their fare share of bashing.

Good riddance to bad rubbish! I was so glad when our local rag got rid of this racist screed. The comic page is a wasteland -- not what I remember as a kid growing up in the 50's!

The distribution syndicate is advertising for a vacancy in its cartoon lineup. They are looking for something similar to Boondocks. The ad reads:
"Cartoon must deal with current events. Must also be a complete ripoff of Bloom County (artwork, lots of shouting, 'pause' panels) with a smaller cast. Finally, must display a complete lack of humor."
