Think the Internet is a warren of Liberal websites? Think Again!
Beltway Boys 9/23 broadcast | 9/23/2006 | Me

Posted on 09/23/2006 3:53:22 PM PDT by NickatNite2003

Was just watching BB, and they were saying that the general impression that the Internet is awash in :Liberal websites and posters, but in fact, while ther may be more Dim/Lib websites..the statististics show that the top 5 Repub/consevative websites/blogs, get more than twice as many "hits" as the top 5 Dim/Liberal sites...whod'a thunk???

Yes, FR was one of them! :-)

Sorry no link availiable..i checked BBs page, but nothing.

The Internet (especially Free Republic) is where I come to escape a lot
of the insanity of the MSM-nutured cultural scene.

Just like when I first heard Rush Limbaugh in the early 1990s, Free Republic
give me an idea of what it was like for people behind the Iron Curtain
to sneak a listen to The Voice Of America.

(hence the screen-name I picked years ago)

Bingo. I have not read a newspaper or watched T.V. in many years. Between FR and Talk Radio (which often discusses subjects I've already read about on FR), I think I have a pretty good handle on things.

One hundred times one is greater than twenty-five times two.

That's because all the libs are at porn sites.

The real problem is that you need to be able to read in standard English to visit the internet news sites.

With porn, reading is mostly optional.

Speaking only for myself, I have experienced one down-side of a
healthy diet of FR (and linked sources) and good talk radio.

Elevated blood-pressure when I'm at the homes of friends/associates
and hear some TV talking head spreading lies and/or false impressions.

Someday I'll remember to take some blood-pressure medicine and put
in a mouth-guard prior to these social occassion.
It will just help my generally placid temperment to keep me from
shouting out "THAT'S A D-MNED LIE!" at a TV screen.

Even if it's a obvious lie.

You know..looking at those numbers..i wonder
if they are using the correctdescriptive, and
instead of "hits", they mean actual posts.

It seems to me that on a given day that i have
some serious time to surf, i could have racked
up a serious chunck of wehat are supposedly
the daily "hits" all by myself, while not
actually posting more than a handful of times.

If they are not counting lurkers, those numbers
are seriously low...Perhaps one of the mads could
confirm?

I'm amazed that Newsmax is first. I don't go there, and I prefer not to read Newsmax threads here.

Arriana sounds like a tumble dryer with a bad bearing. The good news is, she looks awful.
