We engaged the Japanese on several fronts after Pearl Harbor. The war got WORSE before it got better.
The Islamofascist threat is going to ONLY increase on a global scale because we (the United States) have already engaged the enemy, and the Islamic mindset is so closed and so narrow that they are unable to withdraw, retreat or surrender. Their only possible choices are victory (which they will never achieve) or death.
So be it in Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia, we are going to have to come to the realization that if modern civilization is to survive, it is kill or be killed. The Islamo terrorists have already stated that they will kill us or die.

Well, it could have been leaked and written by any anti-Bush bureaucrat, even Colin Powell or Armitage. The article doesn't say when the report was written.
This presupposes that had Bush reacted to 9/11 the way Clinton would have, Islamic lunatics would be trying to join hands and sing Kumbaya with Jews and Christians everywhere.
