It's about darn time. I have been making the 'eight months' vs. 'EIGHT YEARS' comparison ad nauseum. The MSM wouldn't touch it--they gave Slick a FREE PASS on 9/11.
It's that ultimate IRONY, that Slick HIMSELF, has finally opened up public debate on his disastrous years in charge of national security and his culpability for 9/11.
The irony of his being responsible for FINALLY opening up public discussion of his malfeasance is perfect. Absolutely PERFECT.

Thanks. Bill Clinton's White Water Forum is what brought me here. And in those days we were pretty much all shoulder to shoulder.

Oh please, please, please! Somebody with a video editor! It would be a stupendous campaign video, and so easy!
If you are amazing, when Bill mentions the "right-wingers", splice in Hillary saying "vast, right-wing conspiracy".
EXCELLENT IDEA!!
Please, please somebody---make this video and make it available to be shot around the web.
The only thing I would add is splice in some 9/11 footage, too. Just enough to make the contrast.

Also, on your vid idea, we need to emphasize how ludacris it is when he says "someone else had 8 months"---
big flashing text --- 8 MONTHS --- alternating with, what, 96 MONTHS (Klintoon's 8 years in office).

Make sure you sit far enough back so the librarians can see They have about 22 computers. One day, one of them who was constantly very nice to me was going from computer user to user, giving her help to those who was asking for it. As I was about to sign out, I had a technical problem with the computer. I called her over, she saw I was on FR, there ended the nice relationship. She didnt treat me bad after that, but no longer did she even ackowledge me.
One kid who was using the computer next to me, was using it to watch music videos (the computers do not have speakers. You have to use earphones to hear anything). He was completely engrossed in his music videos untill he happened to glance at my screen, saw that I was posting on FreeRepublic, and his mouth dropped open and his eyes went wide. Like he was in total shock at sitting next to an actual freeper. For the rest of the time I was using the computer, he ignored the videos that was playing on his screen (though he kept the headphones on), and watched everything I did with a look of complete disapproval on his face. Must've been a DUer and probably went back to DU to post how he kicked my ass untill I saw the light and denounced Bush.

Yeah, where did he get that crap about the same people accused him of not doing enough to counter terrorism?
I do remember accusing him of launching missiles on the day Monica gave her grand jury testimony is a somewhat suspect way.

It is almost a sense of simple, beautiful, poetic justice that it will be Bill Clinton who has done himself in (politically and legacy-wise speaking here, folks).
Simply beautiful.
Justice, no matter how long denied, is wonderful.
Truth, no matter how repressed and hidden in the dark, is magnificent.

Exactly---this is why I have taken to always referring to the Hildebeast as MRS BILL CLINTON.
Americans need constantly to be reminded that a vote for the Hildebeast is a vote for the same icky "two-fer" these dangerous buffoons "offered" back in 1992.

Clinton is acting like the Islamists. He puts up such a ferocious counter-attack to any kind of perceived slight to him, that it will intimidiate any reporter from doing it in the future. He is a bully and a thug liar.

"In this interdependent world, we should still have a preference for peace over war.... But sometimes we would have these debates where people would say, if I didn't take some military action this very day, people would look down their nose at America and think we were weak. And I always thought of Senator Fulbright.... 6 So anytime somebody said in my presence, 'Hey, if you don't do this, people will think you're weak,' I always asked the same question for eight years, 'Can we kill 'em tomorrow?' I don't think we can bring 'em back tomorrow, but can we kill 'em tomorrow? If we can kill them tomorrow, then we're not weak.... 1 I learned that as a 20-year-old kid watching Bill Fulbright. Listening." bill clinton Fulbright Prize address April 12, 2006

"Mr. bin Laden used to live in Sudan. He was expelled from Saudi Arabia in '91 and he went to the Sudan. We'd been hearing that the Sudanese wanted America to start dealing with them again. They released him [bin Laden]. At the time, '96, he had committed no crime against America, so I did not bring him here because we had no basis on which to hold him, though we knew he wanted to commit crimes against America. So I pleaded with the Saudis to take him, 'cause they could have; but they thought it was a hot potato. They didn't and that's how he wound up in Afghanistan." bill clinton Sunday, Aug. 11, 2002 Clinton Reveals on Secret Audio: I Nixed Bin Laden Extradition Offer

Bin Laden did it.' I thought that my virtual obsession 2 with him was well placed and I was full of regret that I didn't get him." bill clinton Sunday, Sept 3, 2002 Larry King Live

- ... I thank you for this award, even though, in general, I think former presidents and presidents should never get awards. I was delighted when Jimmy Carter won the Nobel Peace Prize because I thought he earned it, and I thought it was great because he got it as much for what he did after office as when he was in office. In general, I think that the fact that we got to be president is quite honor enough.

This legacy confab is in and of itself proof certain of clinton's deeply flawed character, and a demonstration in real time of the way in which the clinton years were about a legacy that was incidentally a presidency. Madeleine Albright captured the essence of this dysfunctional presidency best when she explained why clinton couldn't go after bin Laden. According to Richard Miniter, the Albright revelation occurred at the cabinet meeting that would decide the disposition of the USS Cole bombing by al Qaeda [that is to say, that would decide to do what it had always done when a "bimbo" was not spilling the beans on the clintons: Nothing]. Only Clarke wanted to retaliate militarily for this unambiguous act of war. Albright explained that a [sham] Mideast accord would yield [if not peace for the principals, surely] a Nobel Peace Prize for clinton. Kill or capture bin Laden and clinton could kiss the 'accord' and the Peace Prize good-bye. If clinton liberalism, smallness, cowardice, corruption, perfidy--and, to borrow a phrase from Andrew Cuomo, clinton cluelessness--played a part, it was, in the end, the Nobel Peace Prize that produced the puerile pertinacity that enabled the clintons to shrug off terrorism's global danger.

Of course he says "the right wingers" failed even to try. He doesn't say Bush's name. Who are these "right wingers"? 99% of the "right wingers" in the country have no position in the government that would allow them to take any action against Osama--are they the ones who are guilty of doing nothing from Jan. 20 until Sept. 11, 2001?
Clinton's angry demeanor reminds me of his televised speech, about five minutes long, right after he testified in the summer of 1998, which he used to lash out at Starr--as I recall it backfired on him then.

The raw abuse of power wielded during the Clinton Presidency was one of the most troubling periods in our lifetimes. He actually bombed a pill factory in the Sudan to distract people from Monica's testimony, which came only 4 days after he had admitted to the Country that he had lied about the affair, and his poll numbers were dropping faster than hot potatoes. Then, on the very same day that congress indicted him with impeachment for perjury, the man bombed Iraq.
The mainstream media and everyone else seemingly accepted these distractions as mere coincidences, and frankly, Ive never heard anyone question him on it. Someday, may a brave interviewer will do so, even though theyll surely be derided and criticized by their liberal brethren.
As for this interview, it clearly showed Bill Clinton as a very vain man who is concerned first and foremost about his pathetic Presidential legacy... At the moment, it seems to be summed up as follows:
I M P E A C H M E N T - M O N I C A (and last but not least, and in the man's own words) F A I L U R E.

Big deal.
Trying to save his "legacy". Clinton has a problem with the truth. You can always tell he is lying, his lips move.
Clinton and Little Jimmy Carter, absolutely the most useless to ever serve in the highest office in the land.
Just the fact that Bill and Hil are now multi-millionaires proves they are crooked.
