I hope we're not becoming over confident and complacent.

They better learn to say DEMAND RECOUNT in Spanish, since a lot of their voters are going to be part of the new Democratic Guest Voter program.

6 weeks to election
GOP ain't the smartest campaigners
Course the dems scare the hell out of GOP voters
They would be better off keeping quiet but then their wacko backers wouldn't pony up the $$$$

Yes I can. But we need to not get over confident and keep building momentum.

I know. But I'm not going to sell. I'm holding on to the end. It's not really the money for me anyway, it's the thought that I might be getting financial aid from the Left. I won big in 2004, when phoney exit polls pushed Bush down below 50% for about an hour on election night.
In the meantime, I'm sending donations to where I think they will do the most good. Because what I really care about is the politics, not the money.

Didn't Charlie Rangell say he would resign if the Dems didn't take control of Congress?
Wonder if he is hedging his bets now.
Kind of like moving to France if Bush won the election.

Not at all accurate. It is nothing more than a "conventional wisdom" reader. On election day 2004, Trade Sports went totally nuts as gamblers reacted to phony exit poll numbers, and then to the news that the leaked exit poll numbers were not accurate.

Definitely long night for MSM (too bad for Rather and Jennings will miss the pain and agony of having the "people speaking".)
It is also sad that such MSM "luminaries" as Judy Woodruff and many others will have to share their misery with their buddies at the local watering hole or some tony townhouse in Georgetown.
