"You know, I check Tradesports.com regularly. But how accurate has it been in the past?"

Not at all accurate. It is nothing more than a "conventional wisdom" reader. On election day 2004, Trade Sports went totally nuts as gamblers reacted to phony exit poll numbers, and then to the news that the leaked exit poll numbers were not accurate.

Hannibal good point. I remember that, they also blew the Mexican election. In their defense they had Bush at 51% before the bogus polls came out, so maybe it was a anomaly. they were pretty accurate on the 2005 VA Gov race.

Tradesports biggest supporter seems to be CNBC Wall Streeter Larry Kudlow, who says it is a good barometer. Who knows?

And I'm kicking myself to this day that I had neglected to fund my Tradesports account before Election Day; I was certain those exit polls were screwy, so I went to Tradesports to make a few bucks, and then remembered my account was tapped.

Now if Ken Blackwell can only pull it out here in Ohio, I'll not only be happy, I'll be somewhat wealthier. :)
