The state of education today.
Instead of teaching useful skills (Like Engineering)
they wallow in teaching revolt and self hatred.

Info regarding the school:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cooper_Union

The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art is a privately funded college in Lower Manhattan of New York City. Cooper Union is located in the East Village, around Cooper Square and Astor Place (3rd Avenue & 6th~9th Streets). It is one of the few American institutions of higher learning to offer a full-tuition scholarship to all admitted students. The school offers degree programs in architecture, fine arts, and engineering.

The Cooper Union is one of the most selective colleges in the United States, with an acceptance rate of 10%. With over 70% of accepted students coming to attend, it also claims one of the highest yield rates of American educational institutions.

Another educational institution heard from. I type this same statement day after day. What a sad state of affairs that what was once a great educational system is now nothing more than high cost indoctrination centers.

"intelligent president."

A president that will privatize public corporations, redistribute the wealth, promote minority rule, tax churches, establish public domain to private property, disenfranchise and/or imprison political foes, and bring us to a form of egalitarian government reminiscent of the dark ages.

Chavez can always finance his Marxist government from the country's mineral reserves. Its not not that easy for most other countries it not that easy. He knows this and see them as houses of cards that be pulled down by economic failure. And he also knows if enough incompetent people get to office, America is headed for a collapse. He can say what he wants about George Bush, but he will never admit that he really knows that he is a righteous, intelligent, strong leader and servant to his people. That's fine Hugo, in six weeks the people you pandered this week will have forgotten your name.

[After a UN speech in which he called US President Bush "Satan," Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez got a standing ovation with another anti-Bush speech at a New York college. ]

Another lost opportunity.

Target-rich environment.

The college was Cooper Union, and I will have nothing to do with it, its students, its professors, or its alumni.

This is the Left. It is anti-American. The Democrat Party is its Political Machine. The "Mainstream Newsmedia" is its Propaganda Machine.

Why did they let him into this Baptist church after what he did? He goes on to repeat it there too:

NEW YORK — Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, appearing Thursday at a Harlem Church for an oil-for-poor event, repeated his 'devil' reference hurled a day earlier at President Bush during a speech at the United Nations.

"They told me that I should be careful after I called him the devil — and I think he is the devil — because he might kill me" Chavez told a crowd packed into the Mount Olivet Baptist Church in Harlem.

"But, I place myself in the hands of God," he said.

Most likely faculty! Cuba, Venezuala and Universities are the only places that still believe in Communism.

Hate to say it, this country has gone weak... We've basically allowed an enemy on shore to bad mouthed a sitting president.

I'd love to see our president go to any hostile country and start insulting its leader...
