Below are the results of a three-day poll of likely voters in the state of Michigan. Results are based on telephone interviews with 1200 likely voters in Michigan, aged 18+, and conducted September 15-17, 2006. The margin of sampling error is ±3 percentage points.

Bouchard is a popular sheriff in a city where Stabenow tapped heavily for votes to put her over the top last time. A decent split of that vote could bring about a pretty shocking upset.

The problem with the GOP winning a Senate race in Michigan is that our GOP Senate would feel compelled to help bail out a fellow GOP'er when GM comes looking for federal handouts.
But with rabid Dems representing Michigan, it will be possible for the GOP to "just say no" to a Ford/GM federal taxpayer bailout.
Every elected GOP'er knows that the UAW has given $900 million to Democrats over the past ten years, and paybacks are harsh. Who wants to bail out their enemy?!

Gubner Granholm is being tossed, unemployment is 7.1%. To be sure this is not the collective fault of said socialist. However, said socialist has done everything to ensure an anti-business, pro-union position. It's over.
Cow StabUsAll as an intellectually fat senator has not milked the nursery as senators do, ala Byrd. As Spence was 'dispensed' as he should have been as a do-nothing senator, so should The Cow. It will be close.
I've hardly heard of the guy and have seen very little of his advertising, but then I just watch cable (national) news.
The only commercial I've ever seen for him deals with his daughter talking what kind of dad he is or something. Pretty lame. But of course I'll vote for him anyway.
When the drooling idiot Stabenow first opens her mouth on the campaign trail, her support will immediately fall 4 to 6%.
It will be up to Brouchard to move into that opening and keep the Marxist troll down.
I would simply put up a billboard with stabenow's face in every rural and exurban area with the words: "I hate you."
Everyone not in Detroit or Lansing knows that, but people need to be reminded.
