Democrats Endorsement of a Radical Black Muslim for Congress Called a Security Threat by Black Leader
LOS ANGELES- Democratic candidate and black Muslim Keith Ellisons victory in last Tuesdays Democratic primary in Minnesota has positioned him to become the first Muslim ever elected to Congress. Ellisons selection to represent the heavily Democratic fifth district has caught the attention of Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, founder and president of BOND, the Brotherhood Organization of a New Destiny, who says that he is disturbed that Democrats have endorsed a radical black Muslim with ties to a racist extremist group to join Congress in a post 9-11 era.
The Democratic Party has no shame. Democrats supported Jim Crow and segregationist Bull Connor. Democrats elected Robert Byrd (D-WV), an unapologetic ex-Klansman to the Senate. Now theyre backing a black Muslim with ties to Louis Farrakhan. Who will they elect next? said Rev. Peterson.
Keith Ellisons campaign and his support from Democrats has garnered national attention because of Ellisons controversial past and association with the Nation of Islam. Ellison, who is favored to beat his Republican opponent, has called for an immediate U.S. withdrawal from Iraq. Ellison has also called for the impeachment of President George W. Bush; and he supports reparations for slavery.
Rev. Peterson said, The issue is not Ellisons religious affiliation, the issue is his extremist agenda and ties to domestic enemies. This is an irresponsible and dangerous precedent being set by Democrats at a time when our nation is engaged in a bloody war with Islamic terrorists abroad.

Boy - reading the title of the thread, I thought they were talking about Obama....
Would they really be much worse than say Dennis Kucinich?
PING for your list......

I really find this so unbelievable, yet here it is. We are at war with radical Islam, and democrats would actually elect one to Congress? This should be the most telling thing ever about that party. As far as an anarchist, I would submit we already had two of them occupying the White House in the 90/s. Any real research on the Clinton twosome would tell you that.

Meanwhile in New Jersey an Arab-American misspoke once about Israel and was forced off the democratic ticket with the OK of the Honorable Jon S. Corzine.
Must be quite a few Cynthia McKinney types around those parts.

LOL!
It is so obviously crazy and hate American...I guess that's the point!
Yes, it's like electing a SS guy to parliment during WWII.
Thanks for that! Very telling!
I think the only silver lining here is that a Black Muslim is probably not going to put on an explosive vest and push the "fire" button.
However, he could hold Congress hostage by his actions.
This is crazy. Doesn't anyone understand what's going on?
The Dems are like the Muzzies. All they see is their seething hatred for anyone not aligned with them. It's a mental illness.
Wouldn't it be neat is his name was Alfred?

I wrote that post 3 days ago. Think Rev. Peterson reads FR ? ;-)
I know you are all afraid of being called racists, but that means little to me. Lets not let the Democrats take all the heat here.
We have all seen by the Congressional Black Caucus and its members that blacks would vote for dog poop if it was black. the fact that this one is Muslim isnt why he was voted in. He was voted in because he was black his being a muslim didnt enter the equation.
Besides that many black communities think that Farrakhan is one cool guy. They love this anti-Semite dork.
