I don't watch television shows like the one Rosie O'Donnell is on but I did see a replay of her saying that radical Christianity is just as dangerous as radical Islam.
First of all, I don't know what Ms. O'Donnell is referring to when she says radical Christianity. When compared to radical Islam it would have to mean that there is a sect of Christians who hates and persecutes every other religion in the world.
A group who straps explosives to their bodies and blows up innocent women and children. They would have to sacrifice their sons and daughters as suicide bombers. They would have to be willing to hack off heads with the whole world watching.
They would have to be willing to wage worldwide war against anybody who isn't a Christian. They would treat women like cattle and indoctrinate their children with hate.
They would have to believe that the only sure way to get to Heaven is to die killing other human beings in the name of their deity.
They would advocate a form of government which would strip away all civil and personal rights and turn the power to govern over to humorless old men who encourage their sons and daughters to go out and die for their cause.
I have been around Christians all my life, many denominations, many different people who interpret the Holy Bible slightly differently from each other. I have been in charismatic churches, Evangelical churches, Pentacostal churches, all kind of churches and I have never seen the kind of Christianity Ms. O'Donnell is talking about.
So where is this radical Christianity Ms. O'Donnell fears? I am an extremely well traveled person and I've never seen it.
Even the occasional nut like Jim Jones and David Koresh never did suicide bombings or beheaded people and certainly did not represent anything close to the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Nor does the odd misled soul who stands beside the road with a sign saying, God hates fags. God hates the sin but loves the sinner.
Just to show you the difference, if Ms. O'Donnell had said what she did on a television network in Iran or Saudi Arabia she would have been charged with blasphemy, a crime punishable by death in some instances.
No Rosie, there is no comparison and although I vehemently disagree with what you said, instead of anger, I feel pity. You see I dont really think you even believe what you said, you're just trying to hurt somebody, and Ms. O'Donnell, if you want to know who you're really hurting, go look in the mirror.
Pray for our troops.
What do you think?

Thanks for posting this.
And God bless Charlie Daniels.
I have always liked Charlie Daniels.
Rosie and her ilk are so far out on the limb that it is beyond pitiful IMHO...but in these times, it is also dangerous.
Thanks Jeff, Thanks Charlie!!!
Amen to that...he's not afraid to hit the nail squarely on the head.
There are a good many gays that hate all Christians because they think all Christians hate gays. Rosie has exposed her agenda because I guarantee she equates those who oppose gay marriage to radical Christians, which means, she has just offended 70% plus of Americans.
Me too.
I think Rosie lashes out at others because she is so disgusted with herself. If she is going to be on TV, she really should lose a lot of that weight and stop being a lesbo.
Rosie = atheistic, lesbian, left wing whacko extremist
True Christians do not hate gays...for they are children of God as are we all...but that does not mean the behavior should be condoned or accepted, or somehow defined as normal and "good".
Charlie's dead on about this. Good to see people calling a spade a spade.
Thanks for posting this. Charlie Daniels is a good man.
I've always like Charlie Daniels, but not half as much as his dad Jack. ;-)
I'd guess it's those that speak the Bible's position on women lying with women.
The Devil went down to Mecca,
He was looking for a soul to steal,
He was in a bind,
'Cause he was 'way behind,
And he was willin' to make a deal ...
But Mo' Ham-Head said
"Take me!!!! A'm Alll yours!"
The End
Could well be...but it is, IMHO, beyond pitiful. In today's environemnt, with the current war, it is dangerously devisive.
He has more guts than the Pope.
Forwarding -- maybe hear it read on Mark's show tonight -- with a little music?
