Then why do we have as many illegal aliens as we have now? Was it only Bush who allowed the illegals to come into the US?
How about all those sanctuary cities and states?
Should the Governors and Mayors of these cities get off Scot free? I don't think so.

Buchanan is an employee of MSNBC....staying employed by them requires you to go off the deep end (see Spitty Chrissy, Keith Olberidiot, Joe Scarborough, David Schuster, etc.). It must be written in their contract...

"Whatever happened to Reagan's statement "Republicans shall not speak ill of other Republicans" ?"
Remember what the White House said about those Republicans opposed to the Meirs appointment? This is not one sided vitriol.

buchanan tends to get a little crazier when his books hit the bargain tables so quickly. Heck, this time around his book was already heavily discounted on it's first day of release.

"I believe all national politicians are plying for the illegal vote."
AHEM! There is no ILLEGAL VOTE! You can't vote if you're not a citizen! If you are, then it's an illegal vote which doesn't count (save the Clinton Card program, I already know about it, different topic), in which case, you wouldn't want it anyway. What the politicians ARE plying for is the future vote of "those who were (will be) formerly-illegal but who have been given some form of amnesty" while simultaneously taking money from both the "anti-illegal immigration lobby", AND the slew of buisness concerns who can't survive without illegal labor.
In gastronomical terms, this is known as "having your cake and eating it too". In strictly moral terms, I call it disgusting.
I guess CFR was only intended to help hide this little scam, not stop it. Ask Senator McCain about how that happened the next time you see him. I certainly will.

"He cannot FORCE the congress/senators to take action"
We have existing laws that are not being enforced by the Executive Branch. The President is the head of the Executive Branch. So, yes, he could do something about it if he wanted to. For some reason, increased immigration from the 3rd World is something this President thinks is a good thing. Why importing millions of Democrats is considered a good thing by a Republican President is the puzzle - apart from the obvious economic, safety, and national security arguments for a secure border.
"The Buck Stops Here". He didn't create the problem, but he not only hasn't fixed it on his watch, but has actually increased it by pushing another amnesty.

LOL -- is that right? He is so marginalized, I am surprised he finds employment. On second thought, I am not surprised. MSM still calls him a Republican.

"Actually, I would love to shove this National Review article and the congressional investigation right up the MSM's @## and everyone else who criticizes Bush on immigration".
Are you going to use "Clinton did it too" as a defense?

I'm not sure whether you two are talking about shoe sizes, toothpaste or hemorrhoid medicine...all of which would apply.
To: onyx
Amen to that.
Tancredo is nothing but Buchanan's sock puppet. I expect any day to hear him call for the President's impeachment.
And the Tancredoites wonder why he is banned from the White House and the RNC does their best to stop him at every turn.
I'm just glad the Tancredo clone running in my Congressional district is going to blown out of the water come November.
