Isn't he a Democrat? Wouldn't he be treated exactly the same as Joe Lieberman?

I just LOVE how the media CONVENIENTLY seems to ignore the fact that the Pope's speech was about violence being used int eh name of religion, and spoke to MANY examples of different religions, and did NOT signal out Islam in ANY WAY!...

I also just love how NONE of the "IMAMS" or MUSLIM LEADERS have at all challenged the quote the Pope used, they only challenge (with violence and "anger") the his "right" to actually SAY IT!........

their reaction to the Pope's speech only PROVES the point of the quote the Pope used....

"I really don't like Chris Wallace much. It doesn't have anything to do with his political positions, whatever they are. It's that I just don't think he is good enough, smart enough, for the position he's in. I just have to believe that Fox could find someone much better, much more capable."

I agree, and I've thought that since the first day he was hired. I skipped the first part of this show, honestly because I can't stand Chris Wallace. I decided I couldn't resist seeing what Brit had to say on the panel though.

Interestingly, even McEgo's pal Bill Kristol isn't with him on his latest atrocity.

I saw that, great catch here. Victoria is a brilliant lady and she put it all together extremely well.

My problem is I am just burnt out on the Novak./plame Wilson/ Scooter/ Rove, blame game! I can't take it anymore!

By now if it's not obvious her husband outed her and she was not a NOC(in a covert job) something is wrong.

May I just say Russert is an obnoxious pig. Allen was able to maintain a smile to the very end - a presidential requirement.

You might find TheAnchoress' coverage of Pope-saga interesting.

When it comes to national politics, Rice is a lightweight. Intelligent, articulate, but a babe in the woods politically.

I've lost count how many times Webb has interrupted Allen and Russert didn't say a damn thing

The base is eagerly waiting for someone to step up to the plate. If someone does they'll coast to the nomination..

I totally agree, and time is of the essence.

I read on her blog that the AP reporter deliberately sought out that passage and noted in the report that it was expected to meet with protest.

Perhaps. All we can do is wait and see what happens. The media is going to favor McCain no matter what, unless he were to actually win the nomination. (Then, McCain would see how deep this so-called support really is. Not.)

I would rather see McCain simply lose the primaries and that he would realize his future is where he is and not representing Republicans or running as an independent on a national level.

I thought that the Pres said he wouldn't accept a compromise???

What he said is that he will not accept anything that his intelligence professionals tell him will not allow the program to go forward in the way that he believes it must. So the Prez is saying he will compromise if he gets his way. LOL.

Thanks Morgan. He(Victor Davis Hanson) just seemed to sum up the rats so succinctly in two paragraphs I almost couldn't believe it.

I can't see him taking VP slot. He was a Gen. He was Chairman JCoS. Second fiddle does not suit his nature. IMO

Allegations in Keathing 5 were not phoney. McCain was just as culpable as John Glenn, but of course St. Glenn and the 3 others involved were all Dems in a Dem controlled body so McCain enjoyed the benefit of Dems running cover for him. In case you meant this was not a criminal case, that is true, and thus there were no criminal convictions, and really no formal hassles due to good ole boys network.
