I get so amused when 'reporters' let their frustration creep into their voices when they are forced to report on failings of the Dems. Case in point - Nina on how disastrous Howard Dean has been. She lost her neutral modulation, and went into a nagging whine.

Is it true that other nations, signers of the Geneva Conventions, have clarified that Section/Article 3 according to their own laws?

mclame will have to contend with the hundreds of statements that he was born Republican, and will die a Republican. He has sworn that he would never change parties. He will be forced to admit he is a liar, and questions will arise as to whether he will treat his Oath of Office in the same manner?
It would be proved that he cannot be trusted at his word... so that his words are meaningless. He will NEVER be elected to higher office.

The more I read about Powell and look at the way he is behaving since 'resigning' the more the photograph of him with GWB last year pretending to be matie sticks in my claw.

Timmy wants to know if chewing tobacco (they both do it apparantly) is the right example for young people. (Timmy is part of the chickification of the news, I see.) Allen ends on a good note, quoting Mark Twain: "Nothing requires reforming more than the habits of other people."

I am surprised and dissappointed that Allen hasn't gotten a handle on this non-issue. He still doesn't know how to dismiss this and as a result partisan hack morons like timmay get the better of him.
My only consolation is that webb is even lamer in his responses ;'}

The media, in it's blindess, thinks that Boehner did a bad thing.
He spoke the truth, and that is a GOOD THING.

Kristol is with Bush and not with McCain on this issue....shocking! Apparently his loyalty to McLame does not go so far as to be willing to look completely stupid, as McLame does on this issue. Captain McQueeg is cracking up way too visibly and is now circling the bowl. Kristol doesn't want to go down with the "ship".

Yeah, Commonwealth Countries follow Parliamentary system, which btw is good in some aspects. Here, the opposition party use our system to BLOCK whatever they can. You call minister, we call secretary.

The moonbats are going to be crushed if they wake up the morning after election day with Frist and Hastert still in the leadership of both houses. The question would be how much heat would Dean receive?
To: maineman
was that a quote? i would think anyone saying that would lose 90% of women voters.

Media acknowledging that Powell has a personal gripe against the administration. Hardly anyone suggesting his position comes from reasoned honestly held opinion.

Perfectly said. I think part of Allen's problem in this whole nonsense may be that, in the deepest part of him, he really doesn't want to do things that are hurtful to people gratuitously. Obviously they are just using this non-event to hammer him, but I am beginning to think that his reaction is just part of his basic human decency. Now that would be okay with me.

Not that I know of. They don't have to clarify it, they simply do what they want because there is no definition to prohibit what they do. Heck, some countries just simply ignore the Geneva Conventions even though they signed on to them. The USA has given more rights and privileges to prisoners than any other country in history, and the left still isn't satisfied.
