Is it true that other nations, signers of the Geneva Conventions, have clarified that Section/Article 3 according to their own laws?

Not that I know of. They don't have to clarify it, they simply do what they want because there is no definition to prohibit what they do. Heck, some countries just simply ignore the Geneva Conventions even though they signed on to them. The USA has given more rights and privileges to prisoners than any other country in history, and the left still isn't satisfied.
