Pope Benedict is starting to give me reasons to rejoin the Catholic Faith. If there is such a thing as speaking truth to power then he is fully committed to such a course. No namby pamby beating around the bushes, he goes straight for the central issue regarding Islams dealings with the West. The debate about whether Islam can be reformed enough must center around Mohammed himself, his life, his example, since Islam revolves around him. If Mohammed was a radical then exactly how is the religion to reform itself without losing its soul.

Freepers not sure if this was correct to post. If not please let me know and I won't do it again. Thank you. I posted it because I have seen numerous other links to blogs. If it is improper don't hesitate to let me know.
The Muslims are going to ruin their career over buring pictures of the Pope. They should consult with Sinead O'Connor on this issue.
Everything looks ok. Welcome aboard brother!
The truth hurts, doesn't it?
That'd be a reform, though, shaving their heads!
Islam is a religion of Murder, rape, facisim, and hatred.
Prove me wrong.
Oh Moslems, Live by the sword, DIE by the sword. Any questions?
What career?
In any case, it's OK -- I wipe my butt daily with either pictures of Mohommed or pages of the Koran.
At least the Holy Father has the courage to say what the Western political sissies are too afraid to say.
May God bless Pope Benedict!!!
LOL...what soul?
Islam is meltdown just waiting to happen. Maybe now the timid Western leaders can take courage from the Pope's words and begin to call islam what it really is. But I'm guessing that Tony Snow will inform the President that Pope Benedict called islam a 'religion of peace', and the media just misinterpreted him.
I think that might have been the purpose of his speech. It was a rallying cry to Catholics. The Pope gave a strong signal that the Catholic Church isn't going to let Western Civilization close their eyes to the centuries old struggle between Christianity and Islam.
The 14th since when? Last Tuesday?
(Or maybe since last year, if they're only counting ones where the Pope had some connection to it.)
Looks good, dude. Welcome to Free Republic.
By the way, welcome to Free Republic.
Fourteenth Worldwide Muslim Meltdown
With apologies to:
19TH NERVOUS BREAKDOWN
(Jagger/Richards)
You're the kind of person
You meet at certain dismal dull affairs.
Center of a crowd, talking much too loud
Running up and down the stairs.
Well, it seems to me that you have seen too much in too few years.
And though you've tried you just can't hide
Your eyes are edged with tears.
You better stop
Look around
Here it comes, here it comes, here it comes, here it comes
Here comes your fourteenth worldwide Muslim Meltdown.
When you were a child
You were treated kind
But you were never brought up right.
You were always spoiled with a thousand toys
But still you cried all night.
Your mother who neglected you
Owes a million dollars tax.
And your father's still perfecting ways of making sealing wax.
You better stop, look around
Here it comes, here it comes, here it comes, here it comes
Here comes your nilne-teenth nervous breakdown.
Oh, who's to blame, that girl's just insane.
Well nothing I do don't seem to work,
It only seems to make matters worse. Oh please.
You were still in school
When you had that fool
Who really messed your mind.
And after that you turned your back
On treating people kind.
On our first trip
I tried so hard to rearrange your mind.
But after while I realized you were disarranging mine.
You better stop, look around
Here it comes, here it comes, here it comes, here it comes
Here comes your fourteenth worldwide Muslim Meltdown.
Here comes your fourteenth worldwide Muslim Meltdown
Here comes your fourteenth worldwide Muslim Meltdown
