It was a thing of beauty. The male morning CNN host kept trying to get Tony to respond to the House Majority Leader's statement of yesterday, the one that said Rats were more concerned about protecting Al Qaida than the American people. Tony, rolling his eyes and having none of it, shifted the conversation to the awful things the Rats have been saying and said only moments after the President's 9/11 speech. The CNN guy kept trying to force Tony to "talk about Republicans" and Tony kept explaining to him why that was ridiculous and unfair.
The CNN guy then showed a poll suggesting that 43% of Americans believe Saddam Hussein was linked to 9/11. Tony suggested that this was probably due to the Rats lying about what the President has actually said on this. CNN guy then tried to claim that VP Cheney's statements on MTP last Sunday and Senator Santorum's statements on the Senate floor yesterday actually caused Americans to be confused about the Saddam-9/11 link. Tony hit it out of the park again, saying that both these gentlemen were absolutely correct and that the media and the Rats have been the ones confusing Americans by claiming that "no link to 9/11" means "no link to war on terror."
Tony was terrific!
Bluto was sure they had something to do with it! Positive.
Clinton's cabinet always reminded me of the Freak Show at the Circus.

Saddam Hussein's intermediary between his intelligence service and al Qaeda was as we know the Sudanese National Islamic Front leader Hassan Turabi ... well, unless Sami al Arians ICP held some of its meetings outside Florida and even outside the USA, Hassan al Turabi has been to the United States, perhaps even to Tampa, Florida. And though I don't know when this Iraq/AlQaeda go-between was here, apparently it has been since early 1995 since he was a speaker at a conference organized by Sami al Arian's group the ICP, which I believe was founded in 1995. Bear in mind also that Sudan was where we thought Iraq had WMD facilities. Anyway, the ICP link to Turabi is down at the bottom below this info on Turabi :
* Hassan Turabi aka Hassan al Turabi aka Hassan al Tourabi : Under Turabi's leadership, Sudan offered residency to any Arab or Muslim. This policy allowed bin Laden to take up residence in Khartoum, along with Imad Mughniyah, the man believed to be responsible for the 1983 suicide bombing in Beirut that killed 241 U.S. Marines, and Ilich Ramirez Sanchez, the Venezuelan drug lord known as "Carlos the Jackal," who converted to Islam and pledged allegiance to bin Laden.----- http://www.sudantribune.com/article.php3?id_article=9398

1992 - 1995 : (SUDAN : SERIES OF MEETINGS BETWEEN THE IRAQI INTELLIGENCE SERVICE AND AL QAEDA; OTHER MEETINGS WERE IN PAKISTAN AND IRAQ; IN IRAQ MEMBERS OF AL QAEDA WOULD SOMETIMES MEET IRAQI INTELLIGENCE CHIEF MANI ABD AL RASHID AL TIKRITI IN A SAFE HOUSE ---See IRAQ/ALQAEDA) 4. According to a May 2003 debriefing of a senior Iraqi intelligence officer, Iraqi intelligence established a highly secretive relationship with Egyptian Islamic Jihad, and later with al Qaeda. The first meeting in 1992 between the Iraqi Intelligence Service (IIS) and al Qaeda was brokered by al-Turabi. [* leader of Sudan's al Qaeda affiliated National Islamic Front, Hassan al-Turabi ]
Former IIS deputy director Faruq Hijazi and senior al Qaeda leader [Ayman al] Zawahiri were at the meeting--the first of several between 1992 and 1995 in Sudan. Additional meetings between Iraqi intelligence and al Qaeda were held in Pakistan. Members of al Qaeda would sometimes visit Baghdad where they would meet the Iraqi intelligence chief [Mani abd-al-Rashid al-Tikriti] in a safe house. The report claimed that [Iraqi leader] Saddam [Hussein] insisted the relationship with al Qaeda be kept secret. After 9-11 [2001], the source said Saddam made a personnel change in the IIS for fear the relationship would come under scrutiny from foreign probes.

"Iraq has nothing to do with 9/11" = Isolationist.
I forgot what his health problems were but prostate cancer hasn't seem to hurt Rudy among those wanting an anti-gun, pro-gay, pro-baby killing RINO.
They understand it, they simply refuse to acknowledge it.
Forget it. He's on a roll.
As in :
"Did that clymer Chrissie Mathews get snoqqed, or what?"
"Snoq it to them, beeber baby."
"Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life son."
Yipes. I fixed a typo and made things worse. :^(
I'm sure the posting police will be along soon to fix it. :)
The look on Tony's face when Miles O'Brien (The CNN guy) asked about Santorum's comments was priceless. O'Brien quoted Santorum as saying that there are (current tense) Al Qaeda in Iraq and said that is what is confusing people about Iraq and Al Qaeda ties. Tony gave him the WTF? look and said "I don't understand what your confused about. Everyone knows that there's Al Qaeda in Iraq. That's what they call the group Zarqawi headed up, Al Qaeda in Iraq. What part of that is confusing?"
Hi deffie....I certainly don't remember the White House sending Scott McClellan on so many TV and radio interviews...LOL
I also notice that since Tony got back from vacation, he has been all over the media..
If this requires a second. Mr. Chairman, I'll second the motion. :)
So they are objective. They can make both sides of an argument.
Holy mixed metaphors, Batman!!!
Oh look a shiny thing Rich Burr on FNC. LOL
love ya, Tony!
LOL. I can't help but remember the first time I saw Clinton march into some event with his Cabinet. Short, fat, ugly...they looked like the folks from the Star Wars bar scene. They were selected for just those visual qualities.
