Have you seen any ratings for the View? I know it has been tense on the set but I can't imagine how it can rate well.
To: abb
I was just wondering, does this mean uh...the popularity of Katie is waning?
Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no...no, no, not at all. I, I, I just think that the.. uh.. her appeal is becoming more selective.

Kinda jumped the gun there unspun . No. Don't mock a woman for promoting colonoscopy on TV -- especially when her husband died of colon cancer.

She will last almost a year... I say she's gone next August 31.
CBS will hope people don't notice when they replace her, and that they can scrape the egg off their face over the year following that by replacing her with someone with real credentials.

Well, that might be worth a try for SeeBS. After all, the liberal co-workers of mine here continue to maintain that ALL the news media are biased in favor of Republicans... that they are all owned by the Republicans and corporations that serve them...
I'd love to see how a "progressive" (AKA LIBERAL, in the MoveOn mold) news show would do in the ratings!!!
Win, lose, or draw, it would be quite educational.

I think a fifteen minute Joe Friday(just the facts, ma'm) version of the news has venue. That way we don't waste time on stories we don't care follow the ones that get our interest we know where to go to get more information. I just don't know how you would sell that second fifteen minutes of the half hour. Local news, maybe?

...replacing her with someone with real credentials. Assuming Moonves is still there, he'll either put in his girlfriend (wife?) or some one along
the lines of the anti-perky, like Randi Rhodes.
Or maybe transfer somebody from MTV. Young, maybe good looking, an airhead with no mind of her own so
as to implant the DNC talking points with no questions asked.
