SACRAMENTO, CA -- (OfficialWire) -- 09/11/06 -- The Sacramento Valley chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-SV) today called on Californians to repudiate remarks insulting to Muslims made by a mayor in the northern part of that state.
CAIR-SV said that Redding, Calif., Mayor Ken Murray claimed Shia Muslims "believe it's acceptable to lie, cheat, steal and kill as long as it ultimately glorifies Allah." "Folks, they're not like us," said Murray.
When asked about his offensive remarks, Murray drew a distinction between "mainstream" and Shia Muslims, who he called "wing nuts." "Either the Judeo-Christian philosophy will survive or the Islamic philosophy will survive," said Murray.
Murray's comments came during an event on Thursday of last week co-sponsored by the Shasta County Sheriff's Department, the Shasta County Jail Chaplaincy and the Marshal's Office. District Attorney Jerry Benito, Shasta County Sheriff Tom Bosenko and Assemblyman Doug LaMalfa (R-Richvale) also took part in the event.
"The unthinking bigotry and ignorance of such remarks are unworthy of an American public official and should be repudiated by all those who seek tolerance and mutual understanding," said CAIR-SV Executive Director Basim Elkarra.
Local Islamic leaders tell CAIR-SV there are some 15 Muslim families in Redding.
Correct: It's not just shiite muslims who believe it's okay to lie, cheat, steal and murder people, it's all muslims. How could the mayor get it so wrong?

I don't believe all Muslims are a part of some master plan to subvert and conquer the world in the name of Allah. Many of them lie, cheat and steal simply because they are no good.
But, just in case, let's arm ourselves properly in such a project, and forego the pitchforks and torches, ok?
Yep, It's perfectly acceptable for a Muslim to tell any lie to an infidel. It is perfectly acceptable further for the Muslim to do whatever he feels like doing to the infidel. Rapes, Murder, Robbery, Lies, Intimidation, if you are a Muslim it's all good.
This is war, the remnant of western civilization that remembers the way is facing two severe threats.
The external one. We will eventually be pushed one step too far. When that happens the war will be over and at a minumum tens of millions of muslins will be dead because of who they chose to listen to.
The internal, the muslim apologists and all those who want to see us destroyed. They are the far worse cancer. I fear what that may cost.

Right. It's not the case that all muslims are part of the plan. However, those who desire to be good muslims and go to heaven must do what the koran and the hadiths say: wage jihad until all kafirs either convert or are killed.
You can always tell when the truth is being told about muslims. There is outrage and anger by them.
