The Republican National Congressional Committee has told Republicans to challenge Bush on amnesty. They know that Americans are fed up with the presidents refusal to enforce our laws and secure our borders. While they talk a good game to get the support of the grass roots, when push comes to shove, they side with the pro-illegal establishment.
According to polls, Team America endorsed Candidate Randy Graf has support of 42% of Republican while the closest challenger, Steve Huffman has only 13%. Graf has also raised thirty thousand dollars more than Huffman. Randy is about as good a candidate as you can get. He was major supporter of the pro-borders Prop 200 was overwhelmingly passed by Arizona voters in 2004, and has a solidly pro-enforcement record in the State house. Huffman, in contrast, hasd said he would never join Tom Tancredos Immigration Reform Caucus. He supports amnesty and guest worker plan because it would be economic suicide if we dont.
It is almost unheard of that the RNCC will take sides in an open primary, but now they are pouring in hundreds of thousands of dollars against Graf. Graf will become a true leader in the fight against amnesty if he is elected, while Huffman will join forces with Pence, Bush, and Ted Kennedy.
LOL, my first thought exactly.
RNCC is corrupt, out of touch, or both.
Umm...have the founders of this Pac ever seen "Team America"?
At least there's a picture.
"Umm...have the founders of this Pac ever seen "Team America"?"
Don't know, but the PAC, and it's name, existed before the movie.
When Melman posted that letter on the website ,saying their researched showed republican candidates that favored comprehensive immigration reform were viewed more favorably by the base, I knew if they printed a lie that big that they were broken and didnt speak for me.
AMERICA, @?#! YEAH!!!
I hope all you folks who have been pimping for Graf throughout this business pony up and volunteer in his sprint to the general if he wins the primary.... he's going to need all the help he can get.
The reason? They would rather have the votes of illegals, than the votes of GOP Grassroots. It's all about protecting Big Business cheap labor than protecting american citizens at the border.
Now they think they can slide by in the coming elections and win. Then they will really stick it to us.
There's an original thought (that only gets mentioned every single time the PAC is brought up on this board)
It's just sickening. The national GOP simply have no business interfering in local races. Let the people decide, and THEN you support the Republican against the Rat. They (and the NRSC) did it to Harris, to Toomey, to Jacob, and to Laffey. Face it folks, the national GOP has its head up its rear when it pulls stunts like this.
Party hacks always whine when conservatives refuse to support their RINOs. Well hello, get a fricking clue. All of this infighting would cease if Republicans simply acted like Republicans.
Rather, give directly to the candidate of you choice. It's more efficient and the candidate gets ALL of your donation to spend.
And now some shameless politicizing... :)
Go Graf!
Go Irey!
You shot yourselves in the foot. You went to the members of the house and told them you were a majority. But you were not. The house believed you and passed legislation you wanted.
Then when the Senate wrote a bill, Hastert learned the truth. So he set out to raise public support for trashing illegal immigration. It failed.
So here are your choices guys... Vote for your boy in the primary and lose the general election. Then the Democratic House will pass a bill that contains the same provisions as the Canadian bill. That is show a valid Mexican birth certificate and legally live and work anywhere in the USA they want to.
The senate will compromise with the house.. meaning the best you can hope for is full amnesty and no fast track to citizenship. Or you can have the Senate bill if you do what the Republican establishment wants and we hold the house.
When in the spring you are looking at a Democrat House and you will understand why all those Mexicans are cheering. The Democrats will have solved the illegal immigrant problem by making them all legal... and perhaps if they capture the Senate too, you can refer to them as Mexican Americans.
How about instead we simply ignore every analysis you put forward, as it always seems to lead to Liberal policy succeding either way?
BTW, last *I* checked most Republicans AND Democrats were running campaigns claiming they are for tough border enforcement. I just watched one such commercial by cantwell yesterday on my Tv screen.
She wasn't advocating amnesty. She was spinning herself into Tom Tancredo.
If you are going to make a claim that the majority position in this country isn't enforcement, maybe you ought to have facts on your side. Santorum certainly doesn't have your back on this conclusion.
"Then the Democratic House will pass a bill that contains the same provisions as the Canadian bill. That is show a valid Mexican birth certificate and legally live and work anywhere in the USA they want to"
They already do that now! The only difference is they will continue to do it under democrats...IF and that is IF they win
