Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.
Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation, or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure. We are met on a great battle-field of that war. It is for us the living, rather, to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who fought here have thus far so nobly advanced. It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining before us -- that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion -- that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain -- that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom -- and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth
Glad to know that the fist part was barely edited. I wonder if there will be an unedited DVD of the movie? That would be nice, but it seems like the first part really nailed Clinton and showed the facts of the Clinton administrations apathetic lack of effort 90s. Taped it last night to watch this afternoon. I wonder if ABC is editing the second part to make Bush look worse, because it's just not fair to suggest that Bush had anywhere near the level of responsibility for 9-11 in seven months that Clinton had in the eight years prior to it. The real things that could have been done to stop 9-11 would have had to have been done in the 90s, and Bush wasn't President then. By 2001, the intelligence industry was gutted. The military was gutted, there were no foreign human intelligence sources anymore, and eight years of Clinton orders and rules would have meant the Bush administration would have had to break the law to do the things that would have exposed and stopped the attack. That's a truth the liberals never admit but has been proved.
Mine either but it's a lock that he will be reelected. This is why we can't change this New World Order/Tri-lateranist/ lobbyist/eltitists corrupt "Two-Party Cartel". The sheeple have been seduced to believe that if they vote outside of the cartel all havoc will happen & the cartel has limited any other party from becoming a force. So you'll have to live with it or have an all out civil revolution in which the lazy sixpackers would have to get out of their football chairs. BTW, has this administration done anything about the ports owned by Dubai? Answer is NOTHING. Will the illegals get amnesty? 98% assured. Does 80% plus of the sheeple want this? NO! So what good is representative government & what good do elections do when a judge throws out the peoples will? In every facet in America the enemy is within.

Unfortunately because most of America doesn't have a clue about anything outside their daily lives. Look at the late night shows "man on the street" segments. They don't even know who our own leaders are much less any concept of world events or history.
To Clinton it wasn't a lie. He said he didn't "have sexual relations with that woman..." True, he had sex with her, but they didn't do the deed so he didn't have sexual relations with her. So in his mind he wasn't lying.

IMHO, Massoud would have been the next president of Afghanistan. He was a very interesting man, and hardly a "filthy cave dweller". He was targeted and killed before he could take control of the country.

Massoud was a fascinating dichotomy. This man who went to college to become an architect and create beautiful buildings ended up becoming so brilliant a military strategist, he is credited in large part for ending the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan. Nine times the Soviet Union tried to defeat Massoud in the Panjshir Valley, and nine times they were repelled.]
Another interesting thing in last night's movie was the early development of the geletan type bomb. Isn't that what the lastest spoiled plot in London was dealing with? If this thing was developed in the mid 90s why are we all of a sudden worried about it now? Strange.
