How safe a world? [Boston Globe says Bush worse than 911 Terrorists]
Boston Globe ^ | September 11, 2006 | Editorial staff

THE FIFTH ANNIVERSARY of the Sept. 11 attacks is a day of remembrance and special sadness for the nation, and all those who knew any of the 2,973 victims. Yet in the long run, the reaction of the Bush administration may prove more harmful to the national interest than even these horrific attacks. In speeches over the last two weeks, Bush has painted the attack as a battle in ``the decisive ideological struggle of the 21st century." And he said of Al Qaeda, the jihadist group that organized the attack: ``They're successors to fascists, to Nazis, to communists."

"Free Speech allows an editorialist to write whatever they want. Inteligence is what allows us to disagree."

And pure dumb luck keeps him alive.

Won't somebody publish a primer on "Who Is Our Enemy?" and "These Are Our Friends" etc.? It could include descriptions of an enemy and what they do and what they look like. Obviously, some people are lost without something like this.

I absolutely love your message and endorse it strongly. I am a proud American originally from India and would join you in eliminating these vermin from our nation. I am angry and tearful at the same time and would love to take action to fight the enemy within. It is passion like yours which reinstates my faith in America as I live in the belly of the beast: Boston.

There is no negotiating with Islam, the only language they understand is extreme force with zero tolerance and it is high time we through political correctness out the door and foused on survival.

I think they're beginning to see the propaganda about a slam-dunk Democratic take-over in Congress begin to fall apart and it's agitating them to new levels of vituperation.

The Boston Globe is owned by The New York Times.

Same policy!

Their mask has been removed completely on this day for the whole world to see.

They're mad or evil. Take your pick.

I label liberals like the scum at the Boston GLobe as dangerous as the 9/11 terrorists.

I pray that fifth column thinking like this is defeated in the public arena..

Once the Taliban had been routed, Bush turned to Iraq.

Sounds like a translation of an arab newsrag.

The Boston Globe ran previously discredited photos from a porn site as "examples" of abuse in Abu Ghraib.

They hold NO credibility, especially when it comes to criticizing this nation and administration.

The Boston Globe is owned by The New York Times.

Which makes it even funnier that my relatives in Boston read the Times and tell me what it says. I'm in New York and I used to get home delivery of the Times, seven days a week, but I'm not even tempted to buy it in the store anymore.

"The Boston Globe ran previously discredited photos from a porn site as "examples" of abuse in Abu Ghraib. "

Thank for reminding me of that.

That should be mentioned more often.

I live two miles from Boston. Don't read The Times and very rarely the Globe.

God bless the Internet.
