Maybe the Bush administration should not get off easy. However, there is one point that everyone seems to miss. If, after the first WTC bombing in 93, Clinton had done the exact same thing President Bush did - sent troops into the midEast, took out Saddam, placed terrorists in Gitmo, wiretapped terrorists, etc, the whole nine yards. There would be no President Bush today. There would be no Republican majority in danger. There would be a President Gore. Maybe President Bush was slow on the uptake after being elected. As I recall, the media was hounding him, the media was also hounding Rumsfeld, wanting him removed. The constant lie of being the selected president. Then 9/11 happened. What should be remembered and what should be told time and time again, is while President Bush did not go after Bin Laden right away, he only needed one reminder of what our enemy is capable of doing. How many times did we get hit under Clinton and he did nothing? Remember what President Bush told Ol Crusty - he is not going to fire a missle into some tent to hit a camel in the arse.
The portral of John O'Neill, the FBI guy, was great. It must be beyond frustrating to be a smart, dedicated professional in a federal government filled with political hacks who are there for no other reason than that the president's party owed someone a favor. Given that situation, it is only by the grace of God that our nation has survived its government for this long.
My local morning news said they took the word "impeachment" out of the part where Harvey Keitel/John O'Neill was talking in the back seat of the car or plane (couldn't tell where he was watching, but the TV was on the back of someone's seat in front of him) after Klintoon's Miss Lewinsky speech.
There was no doubt who our enemies are.....
You know, you have the proper name. I was not saying he is a selected president. I was saying that was the lie being told by the media. Read what I wrote! I was making the point that it took one time us getting hit under his watch for us to do something! I was relating that before 9/11, the media was going all out to make his Presidency irrelevant by constantly lying he was a selected President and not an elected one. I was attempting to draw the major distinction between his time in office and Clinton's. Stop being the village idiot!
That is my take on it as well. The Clinton administration does not come out of this looking good.
It also implies that you are not going to win this war treating it as a criminal case. It is a war, and different standards apply.
How do you know what was cut? Did you see the original version?
My pick for the worst of Clintons cabinet would be Butch Reno, the Bull Dyke Baby Killing Butcher of Waco.
How do you know the cut seens you saw were all the scenes that were cut?
I taped it and noticed that the tape did not run three hours but about 2 hours and forty. They must have cut allot out. When I rewound the tape I found live channel 7 news had been taped in the last twenty minutes and it was a Bush slamming session. They were saying that Clinton AND BUSH were critisized for not doing anything about the USS Cole bombing. WHAT?
No. See the above link.

Thank The Lord it didn't happen on his watch.
You asked -- "How do you know the cut seens you saw were all the scenes that were cut?"
Only on the basis of the source saying so. I guess it's just as good as any other source saying something different. I suppose there is a lot of room for controversy here (as to what was actually cut).
But, there *was* a copy that went out to critics, and as I understand it, Rush Limbaugh will be making the comparisons, too. Rush said he got a copy of that showing. So, you might check with his program.
