Russian State Bank Buys Stake in EADS

Russian state bank Vneshtorgbank (VTB) has bought around 5 percent in European aerospace and defense giant EADS (EAD.PA: Quote, Profile, Research), an EADS spokesman said on Sunday.
"VTB has informed us that it has bought a stake of 5.02 percent in EADS," said the spokesman.

Which is why BAE bailed out of EADS - BAE is going to be getting stuff from Lockheed that they wouldn't get as part of EADS.

It appears you are not aware that large elements of the 787 and 747 Advanced are being designed in Boeing's Moscow Design Center. Likewise, elements of the 777 were designed there.
Boeing Design Center. This facility in Moscow is devoted to designing key parts and structures of commercial airplanes.
Boeing Technical Research Center. Also in Moscow, this site works with Russia's top aerospace research institutes on aerodynamics, computational fluid dynamics, prototyping, and other technologies.
