I didn't know if there was a west coast version of this thread. It didn't make sense to post on a show that was almost over on the East Coast.

If being strong on the war is all that matters, then lets just vote for Lieberman for President on the GOP ticket in 2008, because he's as strong on the war as Giuliani, and there is more in common between Giuliani and Leiberman, then Giuliani and a REAL conservative. For YEARS conservatives have p****d and moaned about RINOs and how they suck and they're ruining everything, and now people are talking about handing the White House to a RINO in Giuliani because he did his job the way it should have been done on 9-11. Doing that job the way he did doesn't mean he represents conservative values, and winning the war on terror deosn't mean squat if RINOs take control of the GOP and run the country into the ground form within because they're more like liberal Democrats then conservatives. GOP Giuliani supporters SERIOUSLY need to do some soul searching and decide how important the differences between liberals and conservatives are, because picking a candidate just because he supports the war when ALL REAL conservatives support the war just as much is just insane.

I think it ended 20 minutes before the hour because they showed it with no commercial interruptions. There may have been some edits, but I'm thinking it might not have been after reading the comments of those here who saw it and said the cut scenes were pretty minor. Did what you saw have more cut? I'm wondering if some people saw different cuts of it depending on where they live? That seems like it would hae been pretty hard to do though and been hard to get the different versions distributed. I think there was just one version.

I put together a quick compaqrison of the ABC broadcast and the original cut from redstate.com of the only scene that was SIGNIFICANT that was cut. Only about three seconds of it were an important cut.

Look especially closely at about 5 minutes and 15 seconds into my clip. That is the 'moneymaker' shot that was cut.
Although I don't know why they bothered. Actually I'm kind of proud of ABC for showing this at all. What they did show was pretty damning for Clinton.

Well if the DU'ers are having kittens and wetting themselves it couldn't have been cut too much. But really, to cut it to where Clinton looks competent, it would have had to have been 20 minutes of movie, and 2 hours 40 minutes of commentary about the movie. :) No edit could make Clinton look effective against terrorism in the 90s. And it is recent history. People know what all happened back then whether they like the reality of it or not. Clinton failed this country and is a failed leader who did not engage terrorism, and as the Democrats have abandoned fixing Social Security before it craters, leaving it for future genarations to fix it, Clinton abandoned the country when it came to fighting terrorism, failing to fight it and leaving it for a future administration to fight it.
