I didn't know if there was a west coast version of this thread. It didn't make sense to post on a show that was almost over on the East Coast.

They did portray "the Burglar" pretty realistically, didn't they? LOL. I think all of us agree with your "friend's wife".

"Reminded me of the "Don't get stuck on stupid guy" in N.O"

That would be General Honore to you, soldier.

Exactly. And the culture which demeans women. Men don't mind living like bears in a cave. It's the women who "soften" things and make a home. What's the point if the men are just going to be shooting up the place all the time.

(I'm being a little tongue-in-cheek here but you know what I mean, I hope.)

Yes. The government arises from the culture.

I agree about the nonstop shaky camera and excessive close-ups, supposedly to make it seem more realistic. But that almost ruined it for me. Otherwise, a lot of work went into it, and it was well made.

What this movie does not 'say'. ..articulate' is conveyed through it's cinema photography. . .fast background; mixing of voices. ..music. . .'foreign' sounds.. All contributing to an extremely nervous landscape.

More than that, the terrorists were busy, active, determined.

The Clintonoids were confused, indecisive, defensive.

Wow, the woman playing Albright looks just like her. Talk about scary.

You must be kidding; what kind of eyes do you have???

Madam halfbright in person actually looks more like helen thomas compared to the better looking actress!!!

I usually don't like shaky camera work; I could never watch Law and Order for that reason. However this moved was done well and the work seemed more immediate.

After reconsidering, I wondered if they had not CUT the 20 minutes or so it was short, but had instead allowed that time for tomorrow's preview AND for commercials (they have to pay the bills, after all!).

"It's the one where the American officials were talking about the Philippine case. The Philippine female captain opened the computer, whereas in this country, a warrant would have to be obtained."

I kind of wonder about that. A suspect had been Identified by an eye witness who specifically wanted to go into a burning building to retrieve a laptop and then attempted to flee the scene. Would that not qualify as reasonable cause even in the PC dysfunctional law enforcement atmosphere of the US?

COULD HE PLEASE GO TO DC AND KICK SOME BUTT.

The enemy must look at our pathetic, sophmoric leaders in DC and laugh. Honestly, Nancy Pelosi..what does she do to protect any of us. She may brake a finger nail.

COULD WE PLEASE VOTE SOME LEADERS IN THIS TIME.

The disclaimer the station is running at intervals is really lame. This picture is based on fact but not completely accurate, with added cinematic scenes for entertainment.

As we know, the incompetence lays at the top of our government, from Clintoon on down to Tenet and Clark.
From what I see, it pretty much follows the investigation beginning with the 1993 WTC bomb.
So many missed opportunities ti kill Bin Laden.........but too much concern for the women and children he surrounds himself with. he knows we have a soft spot for women and children, but will sacrifice anyone to help his cause.

and this president. (kinda long but give it a read! part of Harry Truman's august 6th 1945 speech to the country following the first (hiroshima) big bomb dropped on japan. (substitute muslim terrorists for japanese)I think fellow freepers will appreciate this even tho old give 'em hell harry was dem. "we are now prepared to obliterate more rapidly and completely every productive enterprise the japanese have above ground in any city. we shall destoy their docks, their factories, and their communications. let there be no mistake, we shall completely destoy japan's power to make war. it is to spare the japanese people from utter destuction that this was the ultimatum of july 26th at potsdam. their leaders promptly rejected this ultimatum. if they do not now accept out terms they may expect a rain of ruin from the air the likes never seen on this earth. behind this air attack will follow sea and land forces in such numbers and power as they have not yet seen and with the fighting skill of which they are already aware" WOW!!!!

The overlay of Clinton saying "I never had sex with that woman" and then later in the show retracting his denial was devastating in the context of terrorists trying to kill as many Americans as possible.

I agree with your post, but I came away feeling it was Clintons missle strike on the aspirin factory that did some of the most damage to the "Billary" administration. You can just see how that one, singular, cowardly act, just set the Muslim world on fire. The scenes of riots, burning US flags that went on in the film for several minutes right afterwards, really knocked that point home like a driven nail in a 2x4. That missle strike was a tremendous error. Putting troops in harms way is the most difficult decision a President will ever face, but a good President must be prepared to make that decision. This is why William Jefferson Blythe should have done the right thing and resigned! When you disgrace your office, and you are so distracted you can't do the job right, you must care more for your country than for your own stupid so-called legacy.
