I didn't hear if anyone was planning for a live thread of the film tonight. Just in case anyone wants to start early. Some in Australia already have seen part 1. Part 1 airs tonight at 8pm Eastern Time on ABC.

I think this is what really got me. I cannot believe the Clintons did not get this part removed either.

This was the most damning evidence in this docudrama at this moment.

Who knows what tomorrow will bring?

Nice of ABC to fill it that way.

Nice for the Dems.

But it still didn't look good for BJ & Company.

"The Last Fallen Hero" by Charlie Daniels

Oh the cowards came by morning and attacked without a warning
Leaving flames and death and chaos in our streets
In the middle of this fiery hell brave heroes fell

In the skies of Pennsylvania on a plane bound for destruction
With the devil and his angels at the wheel
They never reached their target on the ground
Brave heroes brought it down

Chorus:
This is a righteous cause so without doubt or pause
I will do what my country asks of me
Make any sacrifice
We’ll pay whatever price
So the children of tomorrow can be free
Lead on red, white and blue
And we will follow you until we win the final victory
God help us do our best we will not slack or rest
Till the last fallen hero rests in peace

Now the winds of war are blowing and there’s no way of knowing
Where this bloody path we’re traveling will lead
We must follow till the end
Or face it all again

And make no mistake about it, write it, preach it, talk it, shout it
Across the mountains and the deserts and the seas
The blood of innocence and shame
Will not be shed in vain

God help us do our best we will not slack nor rest
Till the last fallen hero rests in peace

"Heck, I couldn't even take a freakin' bottle of water or a small tube of lip balm on the plane last week."

That's because of the recent British plot. I found an article via Google that reports the TSA allowing small scissors and tools on board. This was in December of last year. Here's the link:

Feds Allow Small Scissors, Tools Aboard Airliners Again

Not sure if it was ever acted on though. I flew for the first time in 25 years the end of April. Took my first trip overseas to the UK with side trips to Holland and Normandy. I had a heavy bag going and two heavy bags coming back. Neither bag was opened on the way over or back. And I had no problem getting through security going or coming. I didn't know what to expect, but fortunately I had no problems. Guess I did my traveling at the right time.

I don't know ... Gore is baby-soft in that pic. I'd say it's electrolysis :)

I wouldn't call Gore a manly man.

If the lady you are referring to was the one at the beginning of the movie, they said she was an FBI agent andthey called her Linda.

Loved those old stadiums, RFK used to rock.

I remember that; it used to actually move.

Do you ever get back there? Fed Ex Field just doesn't have that same ambience. It's nice, but it's kind of a modern cookie-cutter stadium.

"Wow! Those DU people remind me of a pack of snarling dogs who were just thrown a piece of meat. It's been a few years since I checked in there. That Bush Derangement Syndrome has really taken it's toll."

1. We took the money away. We're pouring BILLIONS into the military and they hate it. I work on stuff that makes bad guys go BOOM, and Lord knows how many Habitat for Humanity houses it would fund instead. Don't underestimate how much they hate it.

2. Two strict-constructionist SCOTUS judges. They are a hair's breadth from seeing Roe v. Wade overturned. It gnaws at them night and day.

3. Much lower taxes. We've not only taken the money away, we've put them into a box. They can't fund their precious Socialist programs without either gutting the military or raising taxes. They want to do both, but they would be politically damaging.

4. The assault-weapons ban is a thing of the past. 'Nuff said.

5. Probably a million other things I can't yet think of, but there was a long thread on FR that listed everything GWB has accomplished to date. Basically everything the Clintons accomplished has been undone. They may as well have never taken office. It stings the Libs far more than we think.

We will find out. Arms crossed, tapping foot. Holding a jug of ale while wearing helmet with horns on it..

Maybe we should do a live thread. LOL

Now where is my hog-nose?

You should've seen what Mr. Penn said.

On Drudge: Friedman (who's no Bush fan) by phone, said the assassination movie intensely bothered him... a black man gets blamed as the actual shooter even though they thought it was Arabs. They find out the black guy did it after he killed himself because his son was killed in the Iraq War.

Damn, the dems got it all in... even the racism.

The ME guy wore a red beret and was a straight-talker. Not sure who he was supposed to be, tho. We liked him - he was on our side - military of some kind. Maybe I'll figure it out.

"BUT, he was also very angry that the STATE Dept. hadn't notified he or his family that the murderer had been released...."

I was appalled at hearing that too. I know it happens alot with State agencies not alerting victims and their families when a felon is being released from prison, but you'd think the State Dept. would at least notify the family of a victim of a terrorist act. Our State Dept. doesn't seem to be acting in our best interest. I had hoped that Condi would get it squared away once she took over.

Then you obviously have no concept whatever of what took place 5 yrs ago today. But then again, to you it was probably just a TV show. But I can understand that. I have an insulation to what happened in PA and at the Pentagon. I only experienced those events by watching pixels jump around on a box in my living room. The film "United 93" helped remove some of that insulation, but as angry as I may be over that plane crash or the hit on the Pentagon, it will never equal my rage over the Trade Center. So, as I said, I can understand your attitude. It is shared by many Americans.

We will be the worse for it however.
