I didn't hear if anyone was planning for a live thread of the film tonight. Just in case anyone wants to start early. Some in Australia already have seen part 1. Part 1 airs tonight at 8pm Eastern Time on ABC.
Love MA's "voice". Too damn funny!
Gibson? I have Ollie on Fox.
He was the cutest of all the swarthies
Actually I was thinking maddie WISHES she looked and sounded that good! Fortunately the actress didn't have any walking scenes. They would have had to put in the *inner thighs friction causing the pantihose to spark incident*. Maddie almost went up in flames, running to shut the gates on the North Korean president, I believe it was.;)
Okay... it's sooooooooooooooooo obvious that this " News Special" is a huge take-back of the show it borders on silly.
It's like saying..." now remember what you just saw is quite telling but is not what we want you to remember...you need to drink this koolaid...stare at that light we are flashing and breath deeply...and now begin saying to yourself....what movie? what movie? what movie???"
It is so ragtag put together that you have to know they are doing this to cover thier asses. My gosh they have to say at least 4 times in each comment how we still don't have Bin Laden. It is almost retarded. I can't even begin to say how juvinile it looked. Pathetic maybe. Insulting perhaps...it seems so....childish and sad.
LOL
Myth Busters just did a segment on this -- if fired straight into the air they don't come down and kill.
LOL...isn't that right. Everyone watched it. Now America knows there's a real enemy and we'd better kill 'em and stop those insane nuts.
Thailand?
I'm watching Ed on ABC News6 now .. thanks for the heads up
I don't understand that. Why phase back to 9/11 at the end of the first night if you plan on going back to Oct. 2000 tomorrow night? It doesn't make any sense.
It was a problem to send missles in the air given the problems with India and Pakiland.
Should have just sent stealth bombers and did it right.
"Ramzi bin Al-Shihbi was supposed to be one of the hijackers but couldn't et past customs evidently."
That's right. He was the one who recruited Atta, al-Shehhi, and Jarrah. He also was responsible for sending the 9/11 hijackers money in the States.
I remember something about that.
Do you recall which year he graduated?
Don't forget Chris Cuomo ... he was Clinton's secretary of housing and was reported to be totally ineffective, bordering on incompetent. Cuomo can be seen most mornings on ABC's GMA.
No mention on Nightline on how long it took Bush to fill his cabinet appointments. His administration was filled to the brim with Clintonista holdouts all the way up to 9/11.
Pure seditious bullsh_t from ABC.
The movie was actually mich better than I thought it would be. The covered quote a bit of territory and told the story quote well. I don't think there was too much left out.
Regarding the edits, the big cut were the CIA/Northern Alliance night visions sneaking up on the camp scene which i thought was nto that great to begin with. I think the edits made the movie better.
The Sandy Berger cut was minor, the only cut was Berger saying cutting that he could not authorize the strike. Albright took one on the chin, she got slammed. The cut for her was minor.
I expect Cheney and Rice to get slammed tomorrow.
