I didn't hear if anyone was planning for a live thread of the film tonight. Just in case anyone wants to start early. Some in Australia already have seen part 1. Part 1 airs tonight at 8pm Eastern Time on ABC.

I hate the whining RATS. No one's seen this thing yet (well, except Rush and a couple of other pundits) yet they're more than willing to institute Gestapo tactics in order to stop the story from being told ("lies, lies, ALL LIES!" they rant, stamping their feet and holding their collective breaths -- unfortunately, not long enough...).

But, you know, what also frosts me is today's TV Guide poll, which must have been written by a Rat or Ratette. This presents the question of whether it's wrong to present a "fictionalized" story of the events leading up to 9/11 -

The choice is (paraphrased)

1. It's wrong because the show is a politically biased, lying piece of crap (no doubt because it says something less than flattering about the Hallowed Clinton administration).

2. It's okay because the filmmakers have the right to "shape the story" (i.e., lie) to pull in viewers.

There is a third choice, which says: "I'll wait and see, first..." but #1 is far ahead in the poll (and no wonder, when the thing is worded that way!).

So, in other words, ABC gave in and got in right in line behind Monica...

Like the Republican party, they'll learn that giving in just a bit to the Clintonites won't do - nothing less than full-fledged idol worship will suffice, and the network will be just as much attacked as they would if they had made no changes at all.

Personally, if it's going to have been edited to placate a bunch of whiny leftists, I don't know if it's worth 5 hours of my life to watch anymore.

LOL. The Gorester seems to have a 'way' with timing - -like when he gave a speech on Global Warming a few years ago in NY when NY was having one of the worst snow storms in history (LOL!)

From what I recall they did not have time to show all 5 hour so only played part one to the audience. They gave them a DVD of part two to take home and view on their own.
