he Clintonistas are coming....in a panic borne of the necessity - to dispel the truth regarding how the Clinton administration failed on numerous occasions to apprehend or kill bin-Laden - the Clintonistas and Democrat party hacks like Richard Ben-Veniste alike are rising en-masse in a last ditch attempt to censor ABC's upcoming 6 hour docudrama "The Path To 9/11."
Clinton representatives drafted a four page letter to Disney Chair Michael Iger - ABC's parent company - demanding the film be censored or barring that its suppression.
"The content of this drama is factually and incontrovertibly inaccurate and ABC has the duty to fully correct all errors or pull the drama entirely..."
Ben Veniste attended an August screening of the film at the National Press Club and reportedly was so upset by the portrayal of Clinton as more intent on diddling Monica Lewinsky than dealing with bin-Laden that he got in the face of writer/producer Cyrus Nowrasteh and Gov. Thomas H. Kean [chair of the 9/11 Commission and a consultant on the project].
ABC - so far anyway - seems intent on sticking to its plan to air the now controversial film on Sunday and Monday evening, September 10th & 11th - the fifth anniversary of the attack.
"The Path to 9/11 is a dramatization, not a documentary, drawn from a variety of sources, including the 9/11 commission report, other published materials and from personal interviews."The events that lead to 9/11 originally sparked great debate, so it's not surprising that a movie surrounding those events has revived the debate. Whether the film makes it to television relatively intact remains to be seen at this point. Ominously ABC has said that it is still being edited just days ahead of its slated debut.
The Clintonista's strong arm tactics with ABC speaks volumes regarding how fragile the Clinton legacy actually is, with a singular event threatening to sink his carefully crafted legacy of deceit.

If anyone doubts the inherent Stalinism of the nutroots kiddies whom Harry Reid and Rahm Emanuel bend over to accommodate, one only needs to contemplate their intent to block internet access to anything but their own twisted version of "The Path to 9/11" via what they are calling a Google-bomb.
A Google-bomb - in theory only because it seems to us that the folks at Google should be able to program their algorithm's around such obvious fakery - consists of flooding the internet with thousand or even millions of cloned web pages to enforce the party line content on this whole sickening affair via manipulating key word functions and therefore their ranking order in search engines.
If there is anything that pisses off the higher ups at Google it is intentionally attempting to manipulate how the internet's most used search engine works, and the little despots in training at the lefty blogs might very well get a very rude awakening if and when they attempt this stunt.

Nope, I just listened to Buzz Patterson (who was there in the Clinton administration) who was just on Michael Savage tonite, and he said it was almost 100% accurate. So, I'm definitely watching it. Hopefully, they won't edit it.
I disagree. The movie doesn't say anything we didn't already know. Besides that, it's a made for TV movie on ABC. Who takes their history lessons from TV movies?
Bill trying to pull one of his mafia-style stunts and having it exposed...now, that's something new. We all assumed they bumped off Vince Foster, but ya can't prove it. THIS we can prove and it's dirty, dirty, dirty.
Personally, I think this will sure as heck stick. Frankly, this REINFORCES what everybody knows the movie says. The movie could be supposedly fiction. This is not and we're watching Bill's thuggery in real time.
Oh yeah. I think this is a lot more valuable. If we don't use this little episode in upcoming elections (the Dems using intimidation tactics against the media) and KEEP it in the public eye, we're morons. Utter morons. This is a GOLDEN opportunity. ESPECIALLY since Bush sat back and took it when Michael Moore was putting out his propaganda.

I like to review textbooks kids get inflicted on them to make sure they are accureate. They are 'almost 100% accurate', well, closer to 80 or 90%, but what the heck.

Clinton is lighting a bonfire right at the feet of his own party, and dumping a jerry can of gasoline on it to boot, via the threats and paranoia we are seeing now... with months more to go before November. But Bill Clinton and his party will not be seen as Joan of Arc, rather as some sort of mad Captain Ahab, trying to silence his great White Whale. Insane and obviously so.
Realistically, if ABC were to edit out everything that the Clinton/Democrat Party fears in "The Path to 9/11" this 5 hour prime time docudrama would end 5 minutes after the opening credits were through. Clinton cannot afford to have this "docu-drama" air at all, not even a minute of it. He cannot afford all the "5 year anniversary of 9/11" programing and what-have-you to be... he cannot afford the American publics own real memories of 9/11, because no matter what he can ever say, he can never say he stopped it, or even had an inkling that such an attack was in the works. Because he was a feckless, fearful and bumbling fool, when it came to real threats to American national security.
He spent so much time suppressing public awareness of dozens of lesser attacks during his 8 years in office, simply because he was weak, and had no real idea what to do about the likes of Osama Bin Laden, or terrorism in general. I remember the rhetoric of the time, and it was nothing like the revisionist fiction he and his puppet like minions are putting forward now. Bill Clinton can't handle the truth, simple as that, and he cannot rewrite history, try as he might.
One more thing... remember right after the 9/11 attack, when the Democrats were caught so off guard, and Clinton idly speculated and even complained that Bush was getting all the "Glory", and why couldn't this have happened on my watch? Clinton would have been a "man of destiny" then... and his legacy would have been assured. Remember that?
Also, do you remember some of his more "irresponsible" comments, if such a thing were possible, when he seemingly blamed the West and even Americans for 9/11 because of the Crusades or some such foolishness? Remember that? Clinton sure doesn't want you to, that is for sure. He might take away your broadcast license if you do... so watch out! Or... don' watch... er... hehehehe.
Really, the more I think about it, the more I like the idea of Clinton blowing up the Democrats chances in the fall election because of his own wounded vanity. What a piece of work this guy is! What an incredible, mendacious, narcissistic, selfish jerk! I can hardly believe it... but, believe it!
Today on Brit Humes show they went though a quick bio of every single person who would be in charge in congress should the dems win in November -- EVERYONE should see it (should be on again any minute now the show is in re-run -- because you will run to the nearest voting booth and make certain they don't get into power.

and republican politicos have not fought back on this issue. right down the line:
- they could have buried the Clintons right after 9/11, talking about how their stewardship of the nation's intelligence and military apparatus for 8 years, led to 9/11 8 months after they left office. did we do it? no.
- we let Sandy Burger off the hook. why? we could have buried this guy, and used his actions as the turning point to reveal all their failures. we did nothing. to this day, we don't even know what he stole from the archives.
- able danger? Other then Weldon, the administration and the pentagon won't touch it.
- the 9/11 commission? we allowed it to be staffed by RINOs, and left wingers, some of whom were personally responsible for the intel failures (Gorelick).
- and now this movie and the successful censorship by the Dems.
I could go on and on, but it just makes my blood pressure go up.
and to think,these people have a 50/50 chance of returning to the white house in 2008!

I think they made a huge tactical error -- a lot of people were vowing to stay home in November and just let the dims win.. perhaps this will change all that and conservatives will, instead, go to the polls in droves to make certain the dims never get re-elected.... it will take all we can muster since they cheat.
Well written summary, raising again the sick feeling in the pit of my stomach as I lived through the feckless Clinton presidency and his pernicious behavior after leaving office. Even informed only by the news from CNN International in Chile, I was saddened and demoralized by his presidency, and infuriated by his later behavior.
I think you put it into words very well... Clintons biggest enemy has always been his own ego.
