Stabenow (D) 51% Bouchard (R) 43%
Rasmussen Reports ^ | September 7, 2006

Bouchard's strong primary win may have given him a slight bounce. An eight-point deficit in a Democratic leaning state is a tough challenge for the Republican candidate, Stabenow is barely over the 50% level of support. Earlier in the year she enjoyed a twenty-point lead over the Republican.

Debbie Stabenow has lost a lot of ground over the past few months. Hopefully, the GOP is making this a top priority. Stabenow has accomplished virtually nothing in the Senate.

De Vos is beating Granholm in Michigan. We'll see if he can carry the ticket. It's the same thing in Minnesota, too. The senate (and house) races wil hinge on the gubernatorial races. I'm still sticking with my prediction:

GOP +1 in Senate, +2 in House, and Ricky wins his race>

We can only hope the voters get wind of the 'Senate does Sopranos' letter to ABC.

Hopefully, that picture will become as much a staple of FR as Virginia Governor Thomas Kaine's twitching eyebrow.

We'll see how co-signing the threat letter to ABC plays out for her.

"De Vos is beating Granholm in Michigan."

He won't be beating ANYONE if he keeps using those recorded phone messages, aka "phone spam". I got my first DeVos phone spam today, and I called his office and gave 'em hell.

It's better that he hear it from you now than from swing voters in October.

Debbie Stabenow just lost the election in Michigan.

Here is the email I sent to her:

Ms. Stabenow,

I can not believe you signed your name to a letter urging ABC and Disney to edit established fact from their 'The Path to 9-11'. By signing your name to that letter, you have participated in the most blatant case of censorship and a clear violation of the First Amendment. How dare you, as a representative of Michigan and the government of the United States of America coerce change in political speech. Where were you when Michael Moore lies profited off Iraqi soldiers and slandered our President? Shame on you, Ms. Stabenow.

I will be sure to tell everyone I know that before they vote in November, to be sure they understand that one of the candidates in the Michigan Senate race is anti-first amendment. And that person is not Michael Bouchard.

With no respect whatsoever,
rintense

--------------------------------------

And here's the email I sent her challenger, Republican Michael Bouchard:

Dear Mr. Bouchard,

I'm sure your media team is already aware, but I wanted to contact you regarding Debbie Stabenow signing her name to a letter urging ABC and Disney to, in essence, censor their movie on 9-11 simply because it exposes the truth regarding failures in the Clinton Administration. I urge you to read this letter and let the constituents of the great state of Michigan know that Ms. Stabenow is in clear violation of the First Amendment by using her political office to censor political speech. I am positive the voters will be as disgusted as I am.

Sincerely,
rintense

De Vos is beating Granholm in Michigan.

Boy, that's a lose-lose with no one to choose.

On the left, we have a feeble lib-dem incumbent. On the right, we have a member of the Amway Ponzi scam family. Bad year to be a Michigander, I'm thinking.

God knows, members of honest families can turn crook (cf. Taft, Ohio) so maybe De Vos can go straight. But that's playing the longshot, not the odds... something they made a business of conning the gullible into doing. I believe it won't end well.

Yes, the chickens have come to roost. She'll lose by the same margin she won by, razor thin, may it torture her dangerous incompetence.
