Democrats urge ABC to withdraw Farenheit 911 movie

A headline you'll not see.

Funny, I've never heard Democrats clamor for the censoring of Moore's version of 9/11.

If memory serves me correctly, I believe Michael Moore called it an 'attempt to censor' and 'fascism' when Republicans complained that his movie was, frankly, BS and when alternates like 'Fahrenhype 911' were made..

Deja vu all over again.....

Anti-Kerry Film Won't Be Aired
Democrats, Investors Push TV Conglomerate to Alter Broadcast Plans

By Frank Ahrens and Howard Kurtz
Washington Post Staff Writers
Wednesday, October 20, 2004; Page A07

Under mounting political, legal and financial pressure, Sinclair Broadcast Group Inc. yesterday backed away from its plan to carry a film attacking John F. Kerry's Vietnam War record, saying it would air only portions of the movie in an hour-long special scheduled for Friday.

"The experience of preparing to air this news special has been trying for many of those involved," Sinclair chief executive David D. Smith said in a statement. "The company and many of its executives have endured personal attacks of the vilest nature, as well as calls on our advertisers and our viewers to boycott our stations and on our shareholders to sell their stock."........snipped

President Bush demands movie not be shown unless edited. He obviously has something to hide.

How it would be in the newspapers if this were the case.

The Demos had no problem with Spike Lee's Katrina diatribe.

It's unbelievable to me that we live in a country where a democrat can snap their fingers, and the media (Hollywood included) runs to their aid.

Edit out the 30 seconds in question, and replace it with a Bush add.

That's an even better analogy than F-911.

Clinton and all those who were a part of his failed administration are desperate to stop any truthful account of the events leading up to 9/11. Any legacy that they hope to have depends entirely upon the msm and upon pollable public opinion. How sad. But we can all take heart that no matter what the msm says and no matter how much efforts at the truth are stifled in our time, future historians will have the record and will know the truth.

I was kind of ambivalent to seeing this show, but knowing that "Dingy Harry" and the Dims are trying to muscle the Mouse to stop showing it, I have elevated the movie to "MUST SEE/MUST RECORD" status.
