ABC toned down a scene that involved Clinton's national security adviser, Samuel "Sandy" Berger, declining to give the order to kill bin Laden, according to a person involved with the film who declined to be identified. "That sequence has been the focus of attention," the source said.
The network also decided that the credits would say the film is based "in part" on the 9/11 panel report, rather than "based on" the report, as the producers originally intended.

Maybe they will sell the "uncut" version via DVD like a lot of movies do but I am not holding my breath.
Am I the only one who believes this stuff shouldn't be "dramatized" and that it isn't suitable for conversion into an entertainment product?
According to the segment on Brit's show a few minutes ago, Reed is saying he wants the film pulled and from the sounds of his comments it sounded like a threat to me.
The grape vine is also going to discuss the 911 film and the dems.
Path to 9/11
Yet another kick in the ass for the general public. It's them whom you are crucifying by sacrificing the truth.
We will make an extensive effort to define news media once again by this decision.
Sincerely,

I say pull the show and air a tasteful documentary or tribute.
Please FReepmail me if you want on or off my miscellaneous ping list.
The director probably realized that had he aired the program against the Clinton's wishes, he would have found himself fishing in a lake in the middle of the night and never returning.
I just knew they'd fold like a cheap tent.
Next, they'll cave and show the terrorists as White Supremacists.

IMHO, we don't need to say anything about Clintonistas, etc., a simple message that we want to watch the movie I think will be fine.
Agree. I sent ABC such an e-mail, and they immediately replied with this (before I received an "offcial" reply:
"Note: The Company's long-established policy does not allow us to accept for review or consideration any ideas, suggestions, or creative materials not solicited by us or our subsidiaries. Therefore, in the event that you have submitted such content, please be advised that the submission has been forwarded to the Company's legal department for handling."
Ohh....Brit just outted a 'plot' on DU. Called a 'Google Bomb'. Everyone is to post identical entries to a blog (DU?) with the title of the movie 'Path to 9/11'. Then when someone googles it they will get tons of hits to DU where the 'truth will be told about the movie.'
I will not watch the now redacted version, and I was looking forward to it before the network caved to the pantywaists and cowardly 'nistas. Screw ABC.
LOL, he mentioned that the blogs (DU'ers) are going to do a google bomb on the review of the film. They are going to send identical reviews of the film while and after it is shown.
Once again the goodie-two-shoes Bushes prove that mercy--in this case not throwing Berger in jail for his treason--is pure stupidity in politics. I despise the Clintons, but at least they play dirty and to win. The Bushes seem to play only to be LIKED. Had they thrown Sandy Berger in jail, his protestations now would merely be the sour grapes of a disgraced felon, and be ignored by one and all in the public square. And let's face it, if a member of FDR's cabinet had been proven to have stolen or destroyed Archives documents relating to Pearl Harbor--he would have been hung by the neck until dead.
Thanks Brit..... That is just what I was saying earlier in this post... duers and moveon are out in full force sending out their bogus mass emails to ABC.
Don't they know most of those posts are from hippie long hair dope smokers, or 15 year old computer geeks, or 65 year old stuck in the 60's professors.
Can you imagine the response of ABC if the Bush administration had asked for edits of this film? The original should be releaed on DVD.
It's not over yet. Do you think the Clintonistas will be satisfied with this? Or the Kossacks? I still give odds of 55/45 this thing will be pulled entirely before Sunday.
Clinton gave the orders.....and the employees at ABC want to stay alive.
