Students denied transfers from transsexual teacher's courses

BATAVIA, N.Y. (AP) _ Five parents who asked to transfer their children out of Batavia High School classes with a transsexual teacher have been denied, according to city schools Superintendent Richard Stutzman.

The written requests did not meet the guidelines set out by the district, Stutzman said Tuesday without providing specifics. "That's all between the school, the teacher, the parents," he said.......... .

If this is okay with them, then obviously anything is okay with them. Imagine trying to explain to your kid (a) what being a transsexual is and (b) why they have to accept/tolerate it.

No, what bothers me the most is that there are parents who find it a ridiculous situation, but will roll over and play dead now.

“I have to go home and tell a 14 year old you have to talk to a teacher who’s a male in female clothing. And if you don't address her as a she in 2 weeks, it's harassment because you should be transitioned by now," said Batavia parent Amber Robinson.
