6 armed people holed up at high school in northeastern Arizona Six armed people were holed up Wednesday at a high school in northeastern Arizona, authorities said.
It was unclear whether the six were holding students hostage at Ganado High School or whether the six armed people were students.
A male was armed with a gun, while five females had knives, said Jim Benally, police chief for Window Rock, a nearby community.
Authorities said the incident began around mid-afternoon and that police sealed off the area around the school.
Thanks. I've added a link and restored it.
uh I wasn't the one who posted atzlan as the reason with an itchy mousefinger.
Lutherans? Amish? Lubavitchers? /sarc
It's also 300 miles from Colorado City, Arizona, where the Warren Jeffs FLDS group is mainly based, but apparently there are smaller locations in the vicinity, as well.
This only occured to me because it's one guy with a gun and 5 women with knives.
BTW, IMO, a thread saying Bush had a hangnail, some reactionary would post "atzlan" within the first 10 replies.
A knee-jerk reactionary to knee-jerk reactions? Is that what you're saying?
There are a lot of them just south of there at St. Johns, AZ and Springerville, Show Low, and Snowflake.
Only one of them has it right... the rest are too ignorant to realize they brought a knife to a gunfight...
Que up the MP5 Ninjas...
They are about to get an education.
So that is 12 arms?
>>>6 Armed People Holed Up In Arizona School
Going to take a long time for an FBI Swat Team to reach that loc....
Unless the Navajo have their own SWAT team....or BIA.
I wish everyone would remain clam.
How many 6 armed people are there?
Keep Clam?

Well, it wasn't like they were using the school for teaching, so why not.
I don't think this is a big deal, none of the local news outlets are covering it right now.
Had to be there.
sounds like kids.
