6 armed people holed up at high school in northeastern Arizona Six armed people were holed up Wednesday at a high school in northeastern Arizona, authorities said.

It was unclear whether the six were holding students hostage at Ganado High School or whether the six armed people were students.

A male was armed with a gun, while five females had knives, said Jim Benally, police chief for Window Rock, a nearby community.

Authorities said the incident began around mid-afternoon and that police sealed off the area around the school.

It appears to be a hoax:

Yup, just heard it on the radio.

Authorities are saying it was just a misunderstanding and blaming that misunderstanding on poor cell phone reception :0

How in the world do you screw that up?

BTW, there are 8 extra-terrestiral beings in my home, holding me hostage. They seem to want cameras, money, a "good porter or stout" and lots of attention. They have refused to elaborate until their demands have been met.

Have the police announced that this isn't terrorist related yet?

Not according to the article:

Selena Manychildren, public information officer for the emergency operations center at the Navajo Nation, said when it was determined that the report was false, a female student who made the call was suspended. "As far as we know, it's not a hostage situation, as it was earlier reported," she said.

Three armed bandits held up a bank branch in Houston yesterday. The police are puzzled at how they were able to lift such a heavy building. A police department spokesperson suggested that the possession of a third arm gave the bandits superhuman strength.

Not according to the article:

Seems the story is still developing and the media has not decided what story they want to put out.

Guess it all depends on the ethnicity of the participants.

ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL PING!

It turns out, a student at the school was just playing a hoax. But, hey, that's a good reason to homeschool, too.

When students at the high school in my district called in fake bomb threats and planted a fake device on the roof of the building, it created a lot of panic for a lot of students, teachers, and parents.

This ping list is for the "other" articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. If you want on/off this list, please freepmail me. The main Homeschool Ping List by DaveLoneRanger handles the homeschool-specific articles.

being that illegal hispanics make up 26 % of prison populations, its easy and highly logical to conclude it was six of your precious illegal pendejos.

Since illegals do not value life and commit the more hideous murders,Im glad no American children came to harm and this was all a hoax.

The part about the people with 6 arms should have tipped us off that this was a hoax.
