What if this is a concession to another country for help on something bigger? That would technically be a retread of the "read my lips" moment, but perhaps for something more important at this moment.

In any case, this is mindless speculation based on media reports which is always dangerous.

I just believe to my core that the President filters EVERY decision through the lens of the War on Islamofacism. He just doesn't make these kinds of decisions because he's gone weak. Anyway, here we go.
