Most of the Katherine Harris threads in here over the past year have been very negative about her.
It was with glee...all the threads about her campaign staff quitting, etc..
IMO, it's a good thing Freepers weren't allowed to participate en masse in the primary...else she'd have been smoked.
OTOH, it serves as a lesson to all of us that you can't believe anything about election polls and forecasters....ARE YOU LISTENING OUT THERE IN THE MSMS??

Yeah. It's all in those buckets of make-up she applies with a spatula, and her pesky attention to details like the letter of the law.

What previous elections had Keyes won? Now, now, Julie. Facts simply do not apply with with a certain type of citizen.
It is quite evident, In fact, I once wrote a paper about it in graduate school.
Ask me about it someday, but for now, congratulations on the outcome of the work that you and many others helped shape!
Send Bill Nelson back to the farm!

She is one of the few people who ever came out of a
Hardball interview the clear winner.
I was surprised at her poise.

Why didn't Jeb get in the race? Same reason Rudy didn't challenge Hillary; I suppose. Not. Jeb didn't jump in to a race that he could win in a breeze because he is keeping his eye on a higher goal, and being a Senator is not a good idea for that ambition.

As one of those crazy fundamentalist wing nuts, I take exception to your post. I don't live in Fla, but I vo... I am a Florida voter and it is clearly evident that old dave doesn't live here
Dave you are the ignorant wingnut my boy if you believe that we Florida citizens are just ignorant hick fools.
Trash; right out of the MSM kool aid machine since 2000, and you are a typical example.
Floridian GOPers try to vote for solid upstanding types, and KH is clearly a fine example of a real Floridian.
Take it to the bank.

Ask anyone around Bartow, Florida - shes from those parts.
Nice post - did you copy it to the DU?

I live on that coast, and while there are plenty of transplants, you are wrong about the demographics.
We get refugees now from most every blue state and it doesn't appear that they bring liberal baggage with them.
Quite the contrary. - Check out the population changes over the past 2 years.

Bookmark this thread. One side or the other is going to be eating a lot of crow come November 8th.

You have got the comparison between Keyes and Harris perfectly analyzed.
The man does only run to run. His chance of getting elected to anything is non existent.
Ms. Harris is a truly dedicated candidate determined to win and serve her country, again.

Well, the baggage comes from doing her job and playing fair during the Gore attempt to steal the 2000 election...it is no wonder Repubs are so cowardly. If they stand up for the truth, they are perceived by other Repubs to have 'negative baggage' and are deemed unelectable.
