Democrat Bob Beckel threatened Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld with violence today in a discussion on the Fox News Channel about Rumsfeld's speech last week relating the war on terror to World War 2.
Beckel said if Rumsfeld weren't Secretary of Defense and had federal protection, he'd "kick the dog out of him."
Beckel joined a growing number of Democrats who have reacted viscerally to Rumsfeld's remarks, even though Rumsfeld did not single out the Democratic party nor did he name any current Democrats as appeasers.
Wasn't he on an internet sex site and had an encounter with the woman who then tried to blackmail him? If he were ae Republican, his career would be over.
LOL! Good job rl! ;*)
I view this as proof that Rumsfeld's comments must be hitting very close to the truth. His remarks are certainly closer to the truth than the vicious attacks President Bush has endured for six years. |
MSM/Lib World:
Bush sits and takes the abuse in the media and Dems: When will Bush take a stand?
Bush takes a stand on the abuse of the media and Dems: How dare Bush take a stand?
Sounds like Beckel's taken Mr. Pearlman up on his offer.
Awwww, don't bring-up that 'sheep and goat' thing at the county fair, again, will ya?
(;^O)
Never threaten violence against a man who can easily call in an airstrike on yer pimply butt.
IIRC, he paid a hooker with a personal check.
The rats are bellowing because the truth hurts! Rummy's comments were spot on!
Beckel doesn't have to use violence, All he needs to do is challenge SecDef Rumsfeld to a game of racket ball.
Beckel is a blowhard.
even though Rumsfeld did not single out the Democratic party nor did he name any current Democrats as appeasers.
If the shoe fits...
Perhaps the doith protest too much...guilty conscience and all.
Then the good guys back down and "apologize."
If the RATS don't like an ad that is running...it is taken down.
If the RATS don't like a comment someone made...there is an apology.
If the RATS don't like a person in the administration...they huff and puff and try to knock them down.
So far President Bush has not succumbed to the pressure to replace key people like Cheney, as his VP in '04, or Rummy, or Rove.
This crap is getting old and we need to fight it has it should be fought. No retreat!
Why, thank you.
I have a huge amount of respect for Rumsfeld. I have read several books on him including a business book called "The Rumsfeld Way".
Whether you think he is taking the right approach to transforming the military (I think he is correct) you have to admit that he says what he means, means what he says, and is willing to work his butt off on behalf of whatever task he is given.
I think he is a patriot of the highest order, the best Secretary of Defense this country has ever seen, and I would vote for him for President of the United States in a heartbeat. I would offer to work his campaign up here in Massachusetts, even though I know in advance it would be doomed to failure in this state, I would do it anyway.
A real Man's Man.
Rumsfeld for president, it would work better than kissing up to these enemies with a liberal like Giuliani...
