Democrat Bob Beckel threatened Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld with violence today in a discussion on the Fox News Channel about Rumsfeld's speech last week relating the war on terror to World War 2.
Beckel said if Rumsfeld weren't Secretary of Defense and had federal protection, he'd "kick the dog out of him."
Beckel joined a growing number of Democrats who have reacted viscerally to Rumsfeld's remarks, even though Rumsfeld did not single out the Democratic party nor did he name any current Democrats as appeasers.

I think the most violent thing Bob Beckel has done recently is shove an old woman aside to get that last piece of baked chicken at a nearby all you can eat buffet.

Bob knows he'll never have to face the man who would take his fat frame apart piece by piece. I think he'd stroke out before the fight even started.

The liberals are having a tough time dealing with conservative opposition. By calling the liberals on their lies and their uncivilized "intolerant" pronouncements to which they never have answers or credible arguments to advance. You can call it a FRee service to the sheeple.
If we follow your recommendation we'll only leave the arena to the good ‘ol liberal control, i.e., to the liberal propagation of unopposed lies which will become truths by default.
On his best day, Beckel was no match for Rumsfeld.

This is getting somewhat out of hand. I can't believe all the things that are being written about the Republicans with murder or violence attached now. The people that are doing it are well aware of what they are doing and should be held responsible at the very least for hate crimes.

I started with FreeRepublic sometime in 1998, and have used a couple different names.
For a while I was sorry that my joined date didn’t reflect when I first joined. However, for the last year or so I've noticed that most of the pre 2000 members are nut cases. Common Tator is an exception.
They hate Rumsfeld because he calls them as he sees them:
anti-American cowards.
Beckel and other democrats should be arrested for sedition. We are way to lenient on the filthy left.

I think the republican candidates are suffering from "beltway disease"
They are so far inside the MSM beltway they don't see reality outsid.
The democrats had their labor day stories locked and loaded on friday and launched them with flawless elegance. The message is "D for the little guy", "we feel your pain", "WOT is statistically irrelevant",
the republicans are portrayed in the MSM as "running from Rove", "running from Bush", "we are loosing Iraq", "Afganistan is growing opium"
