Democracy is an excellent system for governing a reasonably homogeneous people with shared values and ideals. It is not a reasonable system for sharing power between two or more groups which have nothing in common and basically hate eachother.

Heard we're getting a "virtual fence". That should virtually stop them.

I am wondering if Castro or Hugo Chavez may be in there stirring things up. The stage may be set for something even more dangerous.

You know, if they sealed the border when we complained, we wouldn't have to worry about this crap.

Fence or no fence it is NOT in our interests to have some left wing nut case destabilizing a populous country on our southern border.

But having a fence would certainly not hurt in dealing with the potential turmoil.

It sounds like Obrador is suffering from GoreKerry's Loser Syndrome. It's rather common among leftwing buffoons these days.

And, not only in Mexico! We aren't far from this, ourselves.

American lefties will think this is just fine.
When they lose, they just conduct themselves as though they won and they just aren't going to follow the law or the will of the people.

The Democrats cannot accept loss. They just go on as though they won. They ignore the law and do as they wish. They just keep suing and investigating until they get at least some of what they want.

Build the damn Wall!
Stop talking and start the work .
It should be clearly visible from space....
To: tcrlaf
As long as it's a stationary target, this could be a good thing. I'd encourage it, in the same way I'd encourage laying out "Roach Motels".

Hells Bells...Here they come now!

We do a very poor job getting out the message of how great this country is. It needs to be pointed out that the disaffected in Mexico are the ones who are coming across the border to our capitalist country. They aren't migrating to a socialist country. Why not?
If our system is so undesirable and unfair, then I suggest that Venezuela and Cuba are better alternative destinations. I'm sure Chavez and Castro would be more than happy to accommodate them.

The problem as you describe it is two reasonable sides. the left in any part of the world is not reasonable, As they are here, the left are a both of no brain, rule by emotion party. I believe if they could, they would outlaw any party that does not agree with them, That is happening on college campus already.
