Santorum just really undid Casey. Santorum, on MTP, was incredible. He knows his facts, and doesn't mince words. It even seems easy for him since he's not trying so hard to keep all the lies and stories straight like dems always do.
It was amazing to watch...integrity vs. bull$hitter.

Get this message to Ken Mehlman....this needs to be the number one talking point by all republicans. Good take on it, and I agree whole heartedly. Santorum would do it, he is getting bolder in trashing the media...who really deserve it. They should be trashing Wilson right and left for being the liar he is. Brit reminded the panel that Wilson was discredited by the Senate Select Intelligence Committee, but the media simply ignored that fact (no surprise there).

Well watching the dims this morning it seems the first 'talking point' (that both Schumer and Buemiller (from the NYT) used was:

"Armitage leaked, but so did Rove and Libby and we may not be able to prove it was a crime (though it was) but it was a the very least a dirty "dastardly" act of a big out of control meanie administration."

Brit already has as knockout to that point:

"The only 'leak' (which is debatable) of any consequence is Armitage to Novak. Thats the one that was printed and started all of it, so even if Libby talked to Russert or whatever allegations there were, are doublely irrelevant because nothing was done with any of it."

Maybe this will backfire and some Dem voters will stay home thinking the election is in the bag.

Actually, that happens EVERY year. Call it rationalization, but voting is sometimes hard, and ensuring you are on the proper rolls ahead of time and know your polling place, getting to the actual polling place on election day, etc, takes time and responsibility.

Therefore, every election day, hundreds of thousands of vapid democrats and mealy-mouthed independents fail to vote. And then the excuses begin....

...I would like to see Tony Snow pushing this fact in their faces, but the WH again seems passive and lost in defending its own. I thought Tony would help with matters like this...

I'll have to do some digging to back this up, but my impression is that Tony is being very aggressive on matters like this (though I don't know that he's spoken about the latest Wilson / Plame revelations).  However, the press is simply ignoring him.

They've got their version of reality and they ignore anything that doesn't help them push it.  Who cares if it's true or not?

Well the link to the newspaper article had a link to the book. Other than that, I don't have a copy of the book yet and I don't think I posted the story on my Blog as I'm not allowed.

This Thursday morning I have to be at Browseabout books in Rehoboth Beach as the local yokel radio station is doing an on-site interview of ...me! For an hour and a half although goodness, I hope I'm not talking all that time. I gotta be there at 6:30 in the am but hey, it's drive time so there will be a lot of exposure.

Next Saturday (9/9/06) I will be signing books at Browseabout books from 4-7 in Rehoboth Beach (homosexual capital of the world) in case anyone is in the area. Stop in, tell me you are a Freeper, and I'll give you one of my other books.

As an aside and as idle speculation, I truly think that Tony Snow is responsible for the admin's new use of the term "islamofacists". I can almost hear Tony Snow begging the admin to be CLEAR about who the enemy is.
