Sen. Dole hit the nail on the head, and Chucky yelled out in pain!

She did it with such style, he did not even see it coming!
It was I, but see also Phsstpok's thoughtful response on that on his not live thread thread.
I hope you are right but stranger things have happened and MSM would see this a vindication if he did.
Well I don't think much of Robert Novak but I'm hard pressed to put much blame on him. He followed the law, gave his source to Fitzgerald but refused to reveal his source publicly because, well he fancies himself some sort of "journalist". Fairness and human decency evidently don't enter into it.
I suspect that sooner or later Novak's appeal as a conservative commentater will begin to diminish. He sat by and allowed innocent people to have their lives turned upside down. Judith Miller went to jail for God's sakes! Not that she's any heroine either but again, here we have a prosecutor jailing innocent people guilty of not one crime.
A manly-man, which Novak is not, would have stepped forward and stood for right, the so-called journalistic standards be damned.
His parish got tired of having to rebuild the church every week after it collapsed when he showed up, so they begged him to stay away.
Panel time on Brit: The NYTimes gal (forgot her name) claims a democrat Iraq is decades away. Bill Kristol says...garbage...there is a unity government, democratically elected in place today. The problem is the security issue, and they do need to get a handle on that. WOT and Iraq connection is still not being made well enough, imho. I think talking heads need to continue to say what Bush said: "OBL said it was the front", Maliki said it was the front in the war on terror. Kristol going after Juan today, so far no slap down from Brit....but I sense it is coming! I love Brit....talking about the dems leading spokesman: Murtha and his strategy of retreat! Brit is the BEST.
"Casey comes off as a complete slimeball."
Indeed. Why is it all the democrats look act and talk the same, coming off as total jerks and smarta$$es?? Notice the snide smirks and comments?
As Santorum stated very well, because all they do is repeat the dnc talking points. They are all incredibly shallow, and STUPID.
Well said. Iraq is part of the WOT. AQ has said so.
FNC is doing a story on things MORE LIKELY than terror attacks.
Perhaps someone should remind fox and friends how those 3000 people who died on 9/11 feel about the probablity of dying from smoking vs terrorists.
Seems we have the DNC talking point, terorism is just a boo boo that can be fixed with a pelosi bandaid.
How about MTP list of all the house members like pelosi who are members of the socialist caucus.
I don't know . . . . A trial might be the best way for the truth to come out. And Libby's lawyers sounded (haven't heard much from them lately) as if they'd go for blood.
Powell's involvement has to really sting since we all know how the President puts loyalty above all else. I bet he knew about Powell's traitorous ways before the Plame Blame scam.
Corn is on FNC more these days too. He was off everything until he took the radical conspiracy side of this and he's ridden it for all it's worth. I was surprised FNC is using him now too.
For those who have followed Corn for years, this guy is a lightweight wannabe. He will not say he's sorry no matter how wrong he is proven to be. He has too much invested in pandering to the lefts radicals.
Off topic but I thought it was interesting that Rush Limbaugh had a guest on his show last week. He was the son of Juan Williams and he's a Republican!
He's 26 and running for DC City Council.
Wow, all good points, Rod. Proving that the top winner may win this week too. Thanks for all the details.
Funny how they think someone earning $200,000 with four kids is somehow "richer" than someone making $175,000 with no kids.
I agree that it's a part of it, but after the Gulf War, the HBM thought that Powell walked on water. And State is a sea of cranky and antagonistic Kantians -- it's structural; talking (without meaning anything) is preferable to enforcement. It's not that there aren't any dissenters, but look at how John Bolton, an extraordinary diplomat, was left to hang.
I guess then I should play golf during a lightning storm. /s
I do think it's beyond Iraq. I think he is not used to having his judgment challenged.
